Your average gamer isn’t buying an Xbox

I doubt they’re printing by demand, as you point at. MS has to cover the cost of the box, art, disc, and distribution. If they wanted to support physical release the game would be on the disc.

They already decided how many they’re going to print

I Platinumed Heavy Rain and Beyond Two Souls on the PS3 when they came out. I enjoyed the atmosphere of HR more. Beyond creeped me out at the end with William Defoes character. Haven’t played Detroit

You mean you missed GOAT 2 after the massive success of GOAT 1 and it’s DLC stories 😱

Just jump into GOAT 3 and it’ll make sense (or not, up to you as a goat).

@michael1989, software are the games digital or physical. Hardware is the platform/console/device the game is played on. Physical games aren’t hardware in case you’re mistaken, they’re a distribution method of software the purchaser has the right to resell…

“ah so the 2nd price hike is evil gaming corpo wanting to go digital only price hike.If they really wanted to go purely only digital, why would they even come out with 2 consoles? I'm not argueing that they wanna go ...

I would be fun a few times. I used to remote play War Thunder to my Vita as a sat in my car with the aux cable connected. The speakers made it worth it a few times

You’ve already accepted their Terms and Agreements for ‘purchased’ digital content though. Supporting physical games, especially fully playable from the disc, is the best way you can protect your ownership rights… or backup your digital games/pirate

I recommend Stacking, and the free Lost Hobo King DLC if you’ve never played it. It’s one of my favorite digital games of the 7th gen

He’s not a real person. He’s a user to raise engagement. You have to come back to see where he is, what user he goes by, etc. A real gamer would spend more time gaming than making up hundreds of email and n4g accounts to ‘support the mission’

It’s ironic the PS2 version was cancelled when Microsoft purchased Bungie, now PlayStation owns Bungie and Microsoft is publishing it on PlayStation.

They didn’t buy the studio. They created it

Thank you Mr. Jaffe. Few franchises stay relevant for 20 years. Thank you Stig, and Corey too

A month or two after Resistance 3 released Ted said they weren’t doing any more Resistance games. A short time later they announced Fuse with EA as the publisher. I’m guessing this was about 2011

Me too but what’s already available I feel like I’m thrown out of my couch with the G forces. I’ll have fun with this one too

They closed all of their ‘small’ game studios though for the GAAS focus. They shot themselves in the foot. PixelOpus, Japan, London (Psygnosis) closed
