Been buying games at sale or used for almost 5 yrs now. I’ve only bought 2 games at full price in the recent past. Far Cry 5 day 1 in 2017, and The Last of Us Part 2 three weeks ago. I’ve been done with the $60 price tag + tax. It was already close to $70 at that price. Now with games at $70 and tax, it’s a very tall order to pay nearly $80 for a game. Given that $14 at the movies that last 2 hrs is less of a price/time ratio, but I respect my wallet with understanding that games have freque...
If you didn’t use it much, sure. But many did. I have plenty of great memories on Home. It was fun, but I found it annoying to always update/download new spaces with a 60gb hdd, even though I always experienced something new once I did. I enjoyed the EA sports game space, motorstorm carrier, carnival, etc. Home was actually pretty great. Would have loved to see it carry to PS4, but Phil Harrison’s departure hurt the long term vision
I enjoyed fc5 more than 4, Primal, and New Dawn. FC3 was my first, but playing it again on PS4 I found the game hasn’t aged well compared to the newer installments. Some didn’t like 5, but I found it the most enjoyable and humorous of the series with a ton of environments and side missions to explore. Maybe because I live in the US and was able to pick up on the details europeans wouldn’t understand. I could understand if someone’s super religious they might not like a religious cult as the b...
Your character can pet them, throw balls, toys, and kill them too! Did you just start the game or haven’t played yet?
Found it! Battalion 1944 by Bulkhead Interactive
It was a multiplayer game that the developer aimed to have a classic feel. It wasn’t cod, but it was supposed to be multi platform. A bunch of the console hedge funders wanted their money back after the developer apologized for delays. Game hasn’t come out. For all I know it was cancelled
What was the name of the WW2 game that aimed to have a classic feel like the old MoH games? I remember the developer apologizing for overpromising a console release and has since disappeared into thin air, as far as news goes anyway. But I was looking forward to it.
Also watch Hell Let Loose on YouTube as I’m not a PC gamer, but this game always looked great!
They aren’t exclusive if their on PC, that’s why so many people had a problem when Sony announced their first party titles would launch on PC
I think I’m past the 25hr mark in Part 2, but I’ve been searching every corner for supplies. Just passed the skyscraper hotel. Had to quit for the day before I enter the hospital for supplies. I’m only putting 1-2 hours of playtime per day. The first week I was 3-4 hrs per day. It’s a bit long in my opinion, but has a greater atmosphere than Part 1
ND literally said since the initial reveal that this is Ellie’s revenge story, and that you won’t be playing as Joel as the main character. If you didn’t believe the developers word, it is you that set yourself up for disappointment from the start. If you wanted to play as Joel through the games duration, you should have found something else to play. ND was very clear that he would not be the main character. I can understand maybe you waited 4 yrs to play as Joel, but you’ve had 3 years of un...
I heavily dislike Horizon Zero Dawn. The dialogue select, the cheesy “who is my mother” thing, and the N4G mob attacked me. But I genuinely do not like the game. I don’t understand the appeal at all, and Guerilla Games should use that talent for a genuine Killzone installment. Not the Shadow Fall 30 year after the main story bull crap. GG has really fallen off the radar as my favorite first party studio
I’ve tried them before, and at the checkout screen once I press “Confirm Purchase” on my phone, it wouldn’t go through and redirected me to the homepage. Haven’t tried it on my PC, but I checked my bank logs and the purchase didn’t go through. I ended up buying 1yr a few weeks ago through the Days of Play sale. CD Keys does offer a great deal though
Concrete Genie, $40 USD day 1, and it didn’t sell well iirc. Pixel Opus deserves their credit for the title but the bulk of 100+ million PS4 users passed on it. I highly recommend it if you play on PlayStation
I can agree here. Concrete Genie was one of the best games I've played the past year. Environment, art style, simplicity. It was perfect in my opinion, and I would love to see more games like it! It took me about 10hrs to complete, and a few more hours to platinum. It’s a very fun and unique game with a high level of quality. For my available gaming time, I start to find games like uncharted, god of war, and the last of us too time consuming to complete in a couple weeks time, unless I si...
I stopped trusting ign’s word after their gta4 review. I can be corrected if wrong, but my grudge with ign started with that game. PS3 was the lead platform for its development, and ign scored the 360 port with a higher review. Yet tech analysis showed the ps3 version was superior. For example, in the ps3 version you could jump in a helicopters rotors and be killed. In the 360 version, the character fell through the rotors as living and damage free. Again I could be corrected, as it was 12 ye...
What are you talking about? If it’s free it’s for me. I was able to download it on my 360 the last time if was offered free!
Dialogue select. There should be a feature in games to automatically select dialogue, or just make it a cutscene
So the disc ps5 then?
From the looks of it, it’s not 10 years of the fan base practically begging for a new entry, but Activision-Blizzard filling the skating void with tony hawk hd remake. Sheesh!!!!
I thought HZD is an RPG, part of why I struggle to continue playing it. I know I’m the minority, but I disliked Mass Effect series for its RPG elements as well, such as dialogue select the two series share. I am definitely not an RPG guy. I wish I was, but I find titles with those elements disconnecting of what I find fun in a game
