I never liked his games, but I agree with him wholeheartedly on this matter.
Someone's mad...
XOne is a games as a service model, not games as a product. They are hard coded in their decisions.
Might as well forget about Japan. The first two systems didn't do any good there, how would you think the One would? Even Japan has internet better suited for this "online" console than us westerners do.
Man this is only getting worse and worse.
I respect your decision of buying XOne over PS4, but name one game that truly benefited from that Kinect 360 device?
Blu-Ray benefited from not having multiple disks to hold a game. HD collections really benefited from having 3 games on one physical disk. FF13 (love this game or hate it) is on one physical disk, and has better textures/higher internal resolution than the 3 disk Xbox version. Uncharted 2 is also an example, etc.
Same. I'll buy any major PS accessory like I have the Move (my PSE I used for my PS3 came with my Move).
I am not that disappointed. Maybe they had a reason to release it later. Maybe there were some odd game breaking glitches to remove before releasing to the public. Whatever, it's really for the best.
Looks like architecture. I am going to stand mine vertically.
"Seriously idiots should stop getting on the internet."
You're on the internet? Someone must be ghost writing this.
Christ will bless the PS4 from the heavens.
Now that is Nintendo Power!
Paid online sucks, but PS4 plays used games, and has no 24-hour offline mode, also $100 cheaper than XOne and only $100 more than the Wii U basic. The only reason to get an XOne over PS4 is for the exclusives, that is if you're interested in them.
It Only Does Role-Playing
XBL Gold needs to follow suit and offer a similar deal to PS+. I am not a sucker for paid online, but at least Sony is giving us PS+ subscribers more value for our subscriptions. It went from free mediocre PSN titles, Minis, and PSOne classics to AAA retail PS3 titles and cloud storage to full blown PSVita games and PSVita indies to PS4 titles, Gaikai access and state-of-the-art online multiplayer.
Other than some MS exclusives like Halo and Forza, the XOne has no advantage over PS4:
-Higher price point
-No used games
-24-hour offline
I would love for MS to do a 180 on these policies.
"That is the way it is."
"Like you said I don't accept it but I understand why they would do something like this. "
You just accepted it.
Makes perfect sense, I actually expected the 8th gen consoles would be HDMI only long before the XOne/PS4 were announced.
Don't see how Sony cannot leave the fancy cloud/social networking knick knacks behind a PS+ paywall and just let everyone else use the traditional online multiplayer for free, like they have been since the beginning of PSN, or during the PS2-era if you must.
Love me some open worlds. Less linear 5-8 hour shooters, more everything to even the genres out please.
