this is definately a GoW rip. i'm gonna dl the demo and give it a try though... if i like it, i might buy it. bayonetta wasn't as "wow" as everyone made it to be. nothing is going to tear me away from GoW3 though. NOTHING!!!
and apparently you're making money on the wii? as i recall only nintendo was making money on the wii..
confirmed.... it does move protected files... my SFIV file moved perfectly!
... in the morning... it's damn late here and plus the slim is in the bedroom and the wife is asleep.
microsoft needs to stick to one thing and do it better than every body else rather than trying to compete with EVERYONE in EVERY catagory. I understand diversification but a jack of all trades makes you a master of none. Windows 7 is a nice start, but they have a ways to go.
I need to kick some more Locus trash!!! ROLL ON THE COLE TRAIN! Definitely gonna be psyched if this is true. The 360 is suffering in terms of software right now. They'd better not eff it up by implementing some kind of Natal requirement to this.
i would be surprised if you went for the PS3, considering, well, you ARE master chief.
I want a refund on that 5 minutes I spent watching that ridiculous excuse of a "non biased" review. PS3 won, true... but the margin should have been much bigger. I can't believe some of the issues and points that were brought up like no backwards compatibility? Seriously, with all the PS3 games I've been playing i haven't even taken a second look at my PS2 games. Anyone who owns a PS3 can vouch for that.
They should have had a 7th catagory: RELIABILITY. Toe-to-Toe...
technically if you have a launch console the firmware updates just add more features. just because it doesn't happen to have the features you want doesn't make the console any more retarded than when it you got it... i mean, dood, since i got mine in Jan of 07 we've gotten:
- Trophy support
- PS Store revamps
- PS Home
- Dynamic Themes
- PS Life
- In-Game XMB
- Facebook integration
some of that stuff I could a give a crap about, ...
i was getting excited... now, not so much. the whole "trophy cheat" doesn't fly with me... if you had to replay to earn trophies on uncharted 1 when they added it after you had already beat the game, i don't see the technical issue behind it. how does one cheat that way? man i miss the old days of memory cards.
didn't it include all the previous downloadable map packs for Halo 3? Hell it's even called HALO 3: ODST. expansion, spin-off, whatever, it's still HALO 3... i think i need to pull out the RYNO V. it's technically not DLC because you have to buy it on disc... it's an expansion which should have been DLC is what it is. Using Gay Tony and LATD is a perfect example... they should have released it on disc in the first place!
did anyone else notice Sheep Man? what's his special power, throwing wool at you?
edit: oh wow, thunder wool is what you get if you beat him. damn, capcom is running out of good ideas. they need another contest for bosses like they did back in the day. my contribution back then was Bull Man (because i was obsessed with the chicago bulls). come to think of it, wow, that's just as bad as Sheep Man.
as stated above... expansions for expansions are not needed.
mass effect 2 and perhaps splinter cell... if they would just announce a release date for alan wake that would make three. aside from that, i'm thinking 2010 is going to be awash with natal crap.
all these knockout games... i wonder what other bombshells they have in store... resistance 3, killzone 3, possibly a final fantasy vii remake... holy poop!!!!
while i agree both PS3 models are sexy... the slim does grow on you once you see it. it's sleek and also doesn't attract nearly as much dust as the older version. nothing is unsexy as a dusty ps3.
but definitely ONE of the best devs to aspire to work for. especially if you're a gamer with a technical/artistic background. it's between them and Naughty Dog for me :). santa monica is another one.
midway through this generation a good thing for gamers? ms would be eating humble pie if they did that... remember, they're on a 10 year life cycle like sony is... we'll see which one looks most dated by then.
yes... because every single gamer i know follows news on blogs like kotaku, joystiq, n4g and cares about "superior multiplatform games" /s
besides a few isolated 60GB blu-ray diode problems and firmware issues, i don't recall any problem that wasn't quickly resolved by sony... wtf you talking about?
depending on your timezone, eastern for me, it will be up later today (after 6). it's always been like that.
