all our games will come out "incomplete"... we pay a base price of $60 for the "core" experience but the entire game will be upwards to $100 if you want to enjoy 100% of what was intended. sounds like what microsoft did with the xbox 360.
while i like occasional multiplayer games, single player is what i've grown up on.

having been screwed over with Tales of Vesperia and Star Ocean, there's no hope left for the 360 in the land of the rising sun. you simply cannot beat nintendo or sony on their home ground. the only battle the xbox is winning so far is against the PS3 in the US, and it's winning by a mere 4mil or so consoles.
how can you even know that... have you even played them yet? it's an opinion at best.
try thai or cambodian... i would say those are by far easier than japanese. cambodian being easiest because there are no tones, but the written script is so much simpler than katakana, hiragana, and kanji...
i say the best way to learn any language is to immerse yourself in it. go live in japan for a few years, i'm sure you'll start picking it up in no time (else you'll be one frustrated mofo)

correct me if i'm wrong but the reported hack to unban oneself would require a new console anyway as you'd have to use a new cpu id. plus, most people would think it easier to cough up the $199 and just swap HDD. all in all, i'm a firm believer that MS did this intentionally around the release of MW2 because they just banned the hardware and not the gamertag itself which would allow anyone to just pick up where they left off. ingenious, albeit low (but then again, it is Microsoft you know)...
people talk about milking franchises like mario, zelda, halo, etc... but pokemon is the holy cow of all franchises when it come to being milked.
so they should just call it eternal fantasy instead of final...

i buy a majority of my ps3 games... i only rent those that i'm not so sure of. and did you think that most people who bought MW2 did so to play online without risking getting banned? i know people who had MW2 for a few weeks before release and they got banned, went out bought an arcade and bought the game.
quality over quantity... i always say.
it looks pretty damn good. i'm definitely putting this on my day-one purchase list :)
and you didn't have problems with platforming? dood, i spent 30 minutes trying to jump to this one ledge and he kept missing it, or landing and slipping off... the story was okay and defiantly did the job of filling the gaps in canon, but yeah, the platforming SUCKED... i nearly threw a controller at my cat because of it.
get punished... and if that punishment is steep, then perhaps you'll think twice about it. same goes in real life... you get a $250 speeding ticket for going 30 in a 25 in a school zone in summer... ridiculous? probably, but you'll probably think twice about speeding after that. or probably not.
