add co-op and kill off vasquez and you have another AAA title.
this film is all hype! just because you have james cameron directing it does not make it a blockbuster. when i saw the preview for it i was like, wtf?! it's going to be this generation's waterworld, you watch.
i'm convinced now that valve is a bunch of donut-eating douchebags.
yes... it will still be the same halo. and i will buy it because i'm retarded like that.
i'm impressed... "halo: what halo 3 that should have been" is more like it.
the question still stands as why is this even necessary now... it's like 2 years and a few pixels short of relevence.
i would buy a wii hd IF it had a better/more robust online experience, integrated hdd, plays hd media (bluray), and it comes in black...
wait a sec...
that would be a ps3. nevermind then.
honestly, i don't know many arcade owners who haven't bought a HDD... i think you guys are blowing this out of proportion. (and if there are those who have a vanilla arcade with memory card... WTF is wrong with you?!)
yeah, but doesn't the price already include VAT?
Kmart? who shops at Kmart?
being a multi console owner has it's pros (you're never left out of exclusives) and it's cons (you tend to never finish games unless they're addicting like uncharted 2 and gears of war)
The Wii is essentially a GameCube with motion controls, hell, it can't even play DVDs!!... The Xbox 360 failed to capitalize on the HD generation by limiting it self to DVD and is fervently trying to play catch up by adding HDMI standard (and they couldn't even get that right), streaming 1080p, adding motion control... it would have been a different picture if they hadn't rushed to the market and implemented HD DVD as the de facto standard for their games. This is what you get for rushing yo...
mine goes all the back to grand theft auto 4... the wife put her foot down... damn i suck.
whatever happend to the coveted Nintendo Seal of Quality? oh yeah, the wii came along.
nintendo has disappointed us for quite a few years in a row now. casual gamers may sell a few systems, but they don't buy games. most of those "casual" gamers stuck with wii sports.
anyone "trading up" to this from a launch 60gig is out of their mind... a 500gb HDD drive can be had for under $100 on newegg and the swap is easy to do. hardware backwards compatibility < larger hard drive.
yep... that's what microsoft said about natal...
you probably missed the "I" in that... i could care less what people decide to do with their available options. "I" have the option to choose, and "I" choose not to because the Wii looks horrible on big screens even with component cables. honestly, anyone calling themselves a gamer and owning just a wii is doing themselves a great disservice.
The Wii looks horrible on my 52in LCD... i'll stick to using it on my xbox (and PS3 when it comes out)... it's a case of "just because you can, doesn't mean should."
but seriously, you didn't intend to just play the single player campaign when you bought this game right? multiplayer is the sole reason my friends and i bought this game. i spent $120 on this game (both xbox and ps3 versions) and i will enjoy the countless hours of fragging and headshots. well worth the money.
