you can change the font if you want... if you mean the size of the icons and font, then yes, that would be nice... but it does improve viability. the whole PS store spam does get annoying though. it could be a little more elegant... and so could the friends list.

but for what you get, it's still not worth the $269 bucks. you'll spend that 30 bucks you save on an xbl gold membership. then you'll spend another 80 bucks on the wireless network adapter. it's still not a good deal when compared to the blu-ray/free network play/built-in wireless/uncharted 2 capable ps3... just saying. did i just hear a distant boom? :-P
yep, for $30 more, the ps3 is a much better deal. cheaper, in this case, is not always better.
i would have to say no considering it's amazon and they do crazy stuff like this all the time... but i wouldn't be surprised either way.

the majority of the people buying wiis aren't interested in the same type of games the hd consoles provide. yes, they are different markets. with sales starting to dwindle (by wii standards), i guarentee nintendo will do some slight cosmetic and tech upgrades to wii like they do with all their other devices (ds, ds lite, dsi, ds ll... and not to mention the various colors they can come in). 50mil+ consoles but how many are actually being played, let alone how many third party developers ar...
yeah, microsoft has a cushion of a few mil for being out an entire year ahead of the competition... that's not saying much. it'll be the xbox that's gonna be in third once all is said and done.

you do realize that the PSX was a child project btwn Nintendo and Sony, right? the original plan was for the Play Station to be a CD add-on for the Super Famicom. it would make sense that the two controllers would be nearly identical.
i'd rather have new games than have devs go back and put in new code in old games. it'd be nice. it'd give me a reason to go back and play MSG4.

the PS3 is how old compared to the PS2? do you realize the PS2 did not reach it's amazing numbers until AFTER it's price was cut to $199?
the Wii is turning out to be just like the gamecube... which did amazing numbers at first but then it stalled and never recovered. why? because the PS2 had a better library of games. does the wii have a better library of games compared to the 360 or PS3? only a handful.
