i bought all my ps3 games and rented my xbox games. i got to enjoy all the exclusives but my money went to the ps3. that way i get to experience the xbox exclusives while sony still gets my support through my dollars :)
for being out a year longer ... but ps3 has a higher % of better quality games according to this.

anyone thinks it's funny that the MW2 for ps3 got rated lower by users than the 360 version because of "issues relating to dedicated servers" which had nothing to do with the console versions anyway? wtf man?!
will everyone stop comparing this to god of war... it's more a devil may cry clone than it is a god of war clone.... beyonetta = dmc, dante's inferno = gow. i played the demo and i hated it... it was way too busy for me in terms of what was going on onscreen (and yet i'm looking forward to ffxiii). however, the way she moves her butt when she walks is hypnotic.
but as far as anecdotes go, it's never a good indicator of what's selling hot or not. while you may have PS3s in stock at the college bookstore, i know most people buy their stuff from big box stores. it could be that students are buying replacement xboxen which were banned last month (what do i know, i'm talking out my butt) but hey, go figure.
i have both systems but i'm pro-sony, so yeah, i may come across fanboyish at times, but i enjoy both systems, just the ps3 more. t...
come to [insert random store] in [insert random locale] and you will see that the 360 is sold out and there are [x number] of ps3s sitting on the shelf [add derogatory remark]. no shortage here. 360 wins!

why is everyone acting surprised? everyone seems to ignore history... every playstation console started off slow and everyone blew it off initially. so quick to forget everyone is. then again, a majority of these haters weren't even around when the psx was released or were too young to remember that the ps2 recieved the same hate too, "too hard to program for, no games, blah blah blah"...
while the lineup looks great on paper, we'll see how these games actually turn out. don't forget, they intend on rolling out natal this year too. don't think sony will just sit back either... they're gonna steamroll forward over microsoft. it's a great line up for the xbox never the less and i can't argue that, but don't put multiplatforms in there... we all know we can play them on the ps3 too.
gay gamers need to loosen up a bit. it's almost as bad as that blogger chick who claimed resident evil 5 was racist because it was a white dood killing black doods. i'm sure worse things are said IRL and i'm sure worse things are said over XBL. give me a break.
and i mean joe schmo who doesn't religiously listen to all the content they read on blogs doesn't care about "superior multiplatform games" because all they see is they can get the game on either console of choice. frame-rates, better aa, none of it matters... i mean, look at resident evil 5. i admit the xbox version looked better but it sold more on the ps3.
studios out there... this is how you make a blockbuster game. drive it with epic storytelling, characters you can relate to and even like, graphics that push game development to new heights, and do it with humility instead of trash talking your fellows.
