Well Nintendo did very well with the DS using the same franchises as they have always done. They didn't rely on all new ips to push the system so I don't think Sony should have to.
It really has not much to do with AT&T... People still bought iPhones despite it being only on AT&T. I think it has more to do with the price because even the iPad 3G sells less than the wifi version.
^Yeah, I mistakenly kept reading in hopes that it was that "one" title everyone always puts in their lists that no one agrees with. haha
No Uncharted 3? lol...
@Graphics, HS still beat out Enslaved even in its first few months. HS did take awhile to take off but it didn't tank nearly as much as Enslaved. Enslaved needed to be reduced in price almost immediately after it came out.
Not necessarily true... Heavenly Sword sold far better than Enslaved, sometimes the hype of being exclusive(coupled with good productions) is enough to propel it higher than it could have gone as a multiplatform game.
I think it's stupid to hate on them over one multiplatform game buuuutt... I don't like how they agree with multiplatform equalling more money. Look at Ninja Theory, Enslaved sold far less than Heavenly Sword.
Danteh you are just one of those loser superiorists that think their opinion is what everyone else thinks or "should" think. Those games are great, but Sony has just as an impressive line up imo.
They can do a 1080p native game, it isn't that hard... There are compromises though and doing that would mean their games would look worse. The only game that looks great at 1080p on PS3 is WipEout, imo. The rest are mostly PSN titles and GT5 isn't native but close.
Of course it still has a lot of headroom, it's still at the PS2's launch price!
^Actually the Corvette has shown up many European cars on the track including the Porsche 911. Check out the Viper, it(at the time) crowned it self as fastest production car around the Nurburgring.

You talk about idiots, but you are the idiot. 6.24 million was only after a few months of being released. GT4 has had YEARS(over five to be exact) to reach that 10 million and it was also released at a much cheaper Greatest Hits price as well. GT5 is still full price.
Mods, delete this trash!
Better AI, parts can be purchased in the setting screens(which eliminates needing to exit the race and go through menus to buy parts) saving precious time, saving championships, character gear customization, etc...
Sounds good to me. New tracks, cars, etc would be nice but that doesn't make this lame... Wtf? How do improvements make something lame? You'll get your wish soon enough.
Innovation doesn't always mean fun and they haven't innovated any more than Sony or Sega(when they were still around).
Also will the Wii crowd be interested in this massive bulky controller as compared to the old simple wiimote? I think they're just making this for the sake of doing something different.
I'm glad and this will remedy that one dude's problems about this game being transformers. lol Not swerving away from the traditional gameplay.
An Apple console would be awful!! We don't need more, imo, and Apple is all flash and overpriced. If you thought the PS3 was expensive, wait until an Apple console comes out. Sadly no one would piss and moan about it if it's Apple because their marketing will make you think it's the greatest thing ever...
I never recalled him saying his games would be all multiplatform in the future either... He has never been solely exclusive to Sony but I expect a few games of his to be exclusive on the PS3 in the future.
I just don't see your logic. Going multiplatform doesn't make them better in any way, it doesn't help them move forward(other than in programming experience), and it doesn't necessarily mean it will get them more sells.
Most games don't even sell what Resistance 2 sold being multiplatform(again look at Vanquish as a good example being a new ip). I'm just saying it's silly to say they will become a better company or that reaching out to a larger poo...
How the **** do these people get away with it? It's not like they're that good, you can't do anything without leaving a digital fingerprint somewhere...
