Dude... Sonic had multiple TV shows(AOSTH, SatAM), comics, food products, etc... Sonic on Genesis sold very well and his reach expanded much further than just video games.
I personally do not want 360 owners to miss out on these excellent games(don't see how considering they were so popular on PS2[PS3 for that matter too]), that's why I tell them to get a PS3 is there are games they want on that system.
For the longest time, until the itouch came out, the iPod was inferior to many MP3 players out there. I'd say it still is, it just has the best marketing so it is more popular.
The iPhone does not dominate anything and the ipad? Well tablets aren't my thing. I would never buy a tablet over a laptop.
So it cost them more to make good games as opposed to alright small games, you realize that these companies also make MUCH more than 10 million gross?
@Max_Dissatisfaction - These people are complainers and therefore will always complain about something. If EA physically put $20 directly into their wallets they would come up with something to complain about. Probably that the bill wasn't fresh and crisp off of the mint or have the audacity to claim EA didn't do enough and they deserved more money. -___-
What's wrong with gimmicks? Sonic has always had them. Green Hill with loops, Metropolis with screws you run on to go up or down, Carnival Night with floating barrels, and so much more.
3 in a gen is not much. Crash and Jak both had 4.
At the end did anyone notice the box art for it? It's unfinished but it looks like that could be the basis of what it will be.
You do realize it wasn't until AFTER the PS1/2 came out that it was out powered? PS1 > Saturn in power. PS2 > Dreamcast in power. PS2 being the most powerful at the time helped edge it over the DC!
"Ur assuming that the system with the better hardware and more features will do better. PSP vs. DS proved that theory wrong. I will however agree that the PS Vita is in a better position than the PSP was in 2005. "
No it didn't... All the PSP Vs. DS has proven is that price matters. PSV has plenty of heavy hitting exclusives that are just as good as Nintendo's. You honestly think that Nintendo has the end all, be all franchises? It didn't help it be #1 d...
Genre leader in its(no apostrophe) fantastic cover system that was a full year ahead of Uncharted?
Killswitch did the same cover system in Gears a full three years before it came out.
Resident Evil 4 did chainsaw deaths two years before Gears. You couldn't use one but it had the same mature content.
Genre leading? I think not!
I still liked 5 much better. 6 wasn't bad though.
Because no one wants to pay more for that ****.
Just goes to show you that reviews don't really matter. People like games regardless of what someone else says. In the case of GTA4 many people didn't agree with all of the 10/10s.
Of course! People love Playstation and even though PS3 isn't #1 people still want one. Wait until it drops in price.
There was no sole inspiration for Uncharted... Tomb Raider was one but it clearly took inspiration from many movies, even ones dating back to the 50s. Read up on your ND interviews or something.
P.S. Just get a PS3.
This smells of feces.
Pachter is wrong... R* had the idea for Agent since the PS2 days. They did not suddenly come up with the idea after they scrapped the Zombie game. :|
Oh and I read they just ****ed with the Feds... The FBI may not have knocked down their door but they will once they have a case against them.
It's about GAMES more than it is about being unique. Being different just for the sake of being different is mostly a terrible idea.
