I'd rather have them do a PS3 Pursuit Force or another Pursuit Force for Vita.
Are you missing all of the third party games that have performed well on the PS3?
@Ghoul, it's only a pain in the ass until you LEARN how to do it. Algebra is a pain in the ass but when you understand it, it's simple. Saying something stays a pain in the ass after you have mastered it is like saying long addition and subtraction is a pain in the ass because you had difficulty with it in 1st grade.
Are you shitting me? GT5 had so much more in features and content than its predecessor, including a much more realistic physics engine. Polyphony has never been inconsistent.
I don't think they're focusing on multiplayer. It seems to me that they are focusing just as hard on both aspects.
I really don't think it's a big deal. You either a) buy it new and don't have to worry about a thing or b) you get it used, pay for the pass, and STILL save money. The only time this would be a problem is when you're only saving $5-15 in which case you should just pay the extra amount and get it new.
They died out because they tried to change their styles to mimic Western games rather than just having their own unique flavor.
Bioware did and it wasn't horrible. It was well received.
I don't see much hype for Rage or Forza. The other three, yes, but those two have about the same hype as Twisted Metal.
There is more to gameplay than just kill streaks and player size.
Are you saying Resistance 1 or 2 would have been a COD clone if they lowered the player count and added killstreaks? lol, I don't think so!
Ten year lie? Typo presumably.
Why don't you play it, Alpha, before judging it? You can't judge a game based on watching someone horrible play it.
Reminds me of people saying GT5 would be hard because amateurs kept crashing and spinning out in the videos.
What do you have to say for PC then? It keeps going forward and all that changes are the graphics... PC doesn't have innovative hardware to play games, it doesn't need it and frankly I don't think consoles need it either. It's all about gameplay and more power often does allow for new types of gameplay.
No it's not 60fps and it doesn't look much different from Resistance 2 on small maps.
Even if it copied COD exactly the fact that it doesn't have regen would make it play completely differently simply because you don't just hide and recharge.
The fact that it doesn't have regenerative health ALONE means it won't even play like COD. Just because something has kill streak rewards does not mean it plays like COD, it looks just like the previous Resistance games to me only with updates.
You do realize that they would still look like crap? You could smooth the textures so they aren't pixelated and put massive AA to remove jaggies, but it still would like worse than a PS2 game.
Yeah, but the Wii sold exceptionally well too and it had years with dry spells. It's no longer about the games and not just about the hardware or whatever gimmick they can pass off as innovation, unfortunately.
Destruction Derby on the PS3, if done right, would be the shizz!! I'd like Driver 4 to be exclusive after San Fransisco bringing a return to Driver's glory.
They've stated that they are not going to abandon the Ratchet or Resistance universes so if it's not continued on the PS3, it most definitely will be on the PS4.
Resistance 2's box art sucked and was generic, except for the special edition box art. FOM's box art was good though.
