The new unit gets hotter at the surface because it has better heat dissipation. My 360 pro from 2007 feels like it doesn't get very hot, but only on the outside. The inner components of the console are probably much hotter, and it may crap out before my warranty ends in mid-November.

I don't play with anyone in my group so I always find a match pretty quickly.
Edit: Also, teams made up of players of varying ranks will slow down the search of any game. Halo 3 had problems finding matches when me and my friend play. He's a Brig General, and I'm a Major.

Starchild, of course Reach's textures are better than MAG's and from what I've seen better than Resistance 2's, but the ground textures of Reach are clearly flatter than those of Killzone 2 and overall, the campaign textures of KZ2 (which is all I can remember) are better than Reach's in various areas, though there are low res textures in KZ2 as well.

Too many shooter games are about aliens vs. humans. The little details you mentioned are irrelevant distinctions because overall the game is not made different by them.

AAA refers to the budget or production value of the game. As such, Ubisoft already knows the budget of their games, and are informing the public that they are out to make 5 large budget titles.

Um, yes there has? The tech behind PS3 was outdated at launch. After 4 years, the gap between what a modest PC can do and what a PS3 can do is startling.
