@fireplace.
You make generalizations about americans making generalizations?
Hmmm.
You already know what the word is to describe your post.
Is there a way to petition or contact Bungie about having them remake Headlong. Because that was my favorite map and I want to see them remake it, not in Forge World.
Oh, do shut up. Mistakes happen all the time. There's no reason to point fingers.
"Unless of course it's an upgraded HD version of the current Wii, in which case it wouldn't make a difference since it's the same console. "
I disagree. New hardware makes it a newer console if the hardware specifications show major differences.
Why bother arguing with someone who is so vapid that they troll threads of games they don't like in order to obtain some form of human interaction? I'm sure there's nobody else willing to talk to you in real life, but maybe you should change yourself instead of bringing your idiocy onto the internet.
Those are some weird surveys you've been taking.
The 360 version was missing more than rocks, ingiomar.
From a business standpoint, what reason does Microsoft have to lower the price? If the 360 is still selling very well, and is topping the NPD for 2 months in a row, can you give me one good reason why Microsoft would undercut its own profits by lowering the price of the console?
Or are you just hoping for a price cut so you can buy one?
Having never experienced those problems in the 3 years I have owned a console, I cannot empathize with you, just as surely as you wouldn't empathize with anyone who went through several busted PS3s.
My preferred hardware is the PS3, Trroy, but only because of the software.
This doesn't change my opinion that this is a completely useless article.
Look at the Wii. It's completely underpowered, but the software is appealing to me.
When it comes to value of a console, the software plays a much bigger role than people on this site give it credit for.
This article is a circle jerk fiesta.
The hardware never matters. It's always about the software, anyway.
And I'll get disagrees for this comment, but I don't care. I'd rather have top ten lists about the same topics than read another comparison article.
I have to agree with N4PS3fanboys on that.
If PS3 fans are allowed to say that GT5 is GOTY or LBP2 is GOTY with impunity, then please don't comment negatively to a 360 fan calling a 360 game GOTY.
It doesn't even matter anyway. I usually end up enjoying other gamers besides what the media calls GOTY.
That doesn't matter, though.
Yes, the game looks really great, but it's weird that when I look at a texture up close, it looks really bad. I don't know how Id did it.
Anyway, I think since consoles are generally not powerhouses, 30 frames per second is what all console games should run at unless it's a fighting game, a hack and slash, a racing game, or some other type of closed-environment game where higher fps won't compromise the game. ...
OMG, a game still in production crashed? That's unbelievable!!! I think you're on to something man. Clearly the final version of the game, which will be out some time next year, will have the same problems as the current build. You should be a detective.
Id should have pushed for 30 frames per second. The textures in the game actually look quite low-res when you look at them up close.
Insomnium, that was not a contradiction at all.
PC has a higher potential for what kinds of games it can run. PS3 has a much lower potential but the developers for PS3 are pushing what the PS3 can do but the developers for PC have for the most part left the power of the PC alone for several years. But in recent months, with the onset of DX11, PC games, even the crappier ones, are trumping the best looking PS3 games.
For example, Dirt 3 on PC with DX11 looks...
Console developers have a better focus than PC devs.
I'll agree that overall PS3 games do trump most PC games, but there's already a good number of PC games, and growing, that are showing what the brute power of PC can do.
Take Metro 2033, for example. It's pretty mediocre game overall, but on PC, with DX11, the game looks much better than most games on PS3, including Uncharted 2.
This just goes to show that PS3 devs, while...
I prefer PS3, but Halo 3 is the game I enjoy playing the most, with friends. Halo Reach is going to take up a lot of my time as well.
