Halo's multiplayer is constantly being improved. Features are always being added to each iteration, noticeable features that change the gameplay dramatically.
Halo 3 has been played for 3 years. Madden 08 was played for one year. What makes a game milked is when the developer or publisher is waiting as little as it can before it releases the next...

When I play games I'm just trying to have some fun, and with friends, a lot of games can be very fun. Halo is just one of those franchises that I find very fun to play with friends, and I love other parts of the game so I keep coming back to it.

Ya, and the guys who made NG2 had to prove in court that the port to PS3 wasn't the same game, so they completely re-did parts of the game and the graphics so that they could legally get it on PS3.
If MS and Bioware had an exclusivity agreement for Mass Effect 1 (before EA acquired Bioware), then Bioware would have to show, in court, that their port to PS3 would be a different game.
The loading elevators weren't even that long. The most I waited was 40 seconds. Dead Space's loading elevators were maybe 20 seconds long. Big deal, I say.

I agree for the most part, but Halo is a quality franchise. People say it isn't, but it's a solid game with lots of content, great support, and more.
