The generation doesn't magically end if Microsoft and Sony cut their prices. If they choose to release a next-gen system, that will signal the start of the a new generation.
That is all.
Who cares about 1080i? I heard it is garbage compared to 720 progressive scan.
KRATOS, awesome. I'm thinking of either buying the GOW collection or Demon's Souls. I have never played any God of War games, so I know I need to catch up before March. But on the other hand, I don't want to put off purchasing Demon's Souls because Atlus made a great game and deserves my money in a timely manner so that they can make a great sequel or successor.
I suppose I prefer Microsoft's stance. They laugh in your face, but at least they are honest. I think it is obvious that Sony is pleased about the iPad because it is underwhelming, and thus Sony is happy that it won't cut into their market.
Microsoft on the other hand, will make fun of the iPad because Apple is their competitor and Microsoft sees no reason to put on false, polite appearances.
Wow. It looks interesting, but playing as the big daddy in multiplayer is probably not as fun because look how slow you're moving, and your view is limited by the helmet. I would rather play as a splicer.
Not to mention the fact that a hedgehog is a rodent with prickly-looking hair, and the name Needlemouse exemplifies that.
However, it is possible they are just trying to throw us off with these obvious hints.
I know that Sony is more experienced as a hardware manufacturer, and Microsoft wanted to control the hardware of their console this gen because they got screwed over by Nvidia last gen.
How is Microsoft going to make the next Xbox? Should they outsource production or should they create a design factory in the states so they can oversee the production.
Being a console company is a tough business, especially when you realize that you could easily give up the console...
Does anybody have information on how much it costs to manufacture an Xbox 360?
How is Microsoft able to cut the price so easily?
Pretty soon, MS will be able to sell the console for 100 dollars.
The gamer zone is above comments such as yours.
And don't bother buying a 360. XBL has enough immature idiots without having you there.
KZ2 was a first party title, so your sarcasm is lost.
Sony doesn't like funding too many third party projects these days.
Microsoft, on the other hand is willing to pay big bucks for short term exclusivity.
Is that really in the game? I know, I'm gullible, but is it?
"MARIAAAAA!!!!"
I think SE should have spread the game out on more discs for 360. That way, the game would have not been restricted on PS3 and both could have had comparable audio and video.
Next gen, Microsoft, you need to find a solution to this optical drive medium dilemma. I know why MS didn't want to use Blu-Ray. They don't want to pay Sony 60 bucks for every Blu-Ray drive. That's what I heard.
No, Godmars, I played that game and that village is not what Square Enix should have aimed for. There was no high level of character interactivity in that village. I get the general idea of what you were saying, but that village was also very linear. All you did was follow the Tibetan guide. And when you got back out of the ice cave and started fighting your way to safety, it was just as linear.
A friend of mine says that Crysis was designed to take advantage of a bridge between two GPUs. By that he means, the game was designed for dual-GPU hardware.
True, the PS3 is very powerful.
But the future is not PS3. A PC I built in 2006 for 700 dollars was almost twice as powerful as a PS3. So, when PS3 came out and cost 600 dollars in 2006, I didn't feel like buying it. Now that it has dropped in price and accumulated value by having great games, I have purchased it. But, the PS3 is not a good choice for a Crysis game, nor is the 360. Both are weak. Crysis should have remained exclusive to PC.
For you guys who play JRPGs, I envy you. Today I was watching some Final Fantasy XIII combat videos, and I don't understand what is going on. I feel like such an idiot when I watch those videos. I don't think I would understand how to play the game. There's numbers flying everywhere, and the camera is rotating around the battle. Very past-paced stuff. In WRPGs, everything is slowed-down.
His comments about the playstation 3 sound pretty arrogant to me. There's nothing wrong with being happy with your product, but when you say things like, "I think our console is the most beautiful thing in the world," that is an indirect jab at the competition. Rather, he could say things like, "Our console is a great value and will provide more features than just games, and we think it is beautiful."
If it was okay for Ken Katuragi to say what he said, th...
That cutscene reminded me of the film Ransom with Mel Gibson. Except, in the film his son gets kidnapped, but a similar situation occurred at a science fair in the film.
The game looks good, but the walking is stiff. If you walk close to another person, they sort of move out of the way in a rigid manner that takes away the feeling of realism. The developers should have worked more on that.
Also, this is the second video I have seen for this game, and the gameplay ...
If this guy spent half as much time actually working on a game instead of blogging and vlogging on the internet, it would have been released already.
Twisted Metal is a good game for the 1990's era when people didn't really think of games as being mediums of storytelling. Twisted Metal doesn't belong in this era as a full-fledged game. A PSN title, for sure, but I'd rather Jaffe and his studio concentrate more on a story-driven game, not "Mortal Kombat with cars".
Isn't he working on a Castlevania game that is multiplat?
