I have Game Pass because that is how I got a Series X through that All Access thing. I feel like I under-utilize it as I generally just want to play games that I own and am invested in. I don't think I will be resubscribing but I still have over a year's worth of service so maybe I'll change my mind. I do admit that I basically don't buy games on my XBox because of it. I really only buy games on the PS5, and I'm not interested in their PS+ advanced tiers.
I mean it sucks, but I'm still going to be buying it because I know there is a really good chance that it will be at least 50 hours of enjoyment if not more if it is on the same level as BOTW (which I have over 100 hours invested in).
I think the price increase across the board (XBox and Playstation games too) sucks, but I'm not going to give up gaming and find a new hobby over it.
I'll need to see more titles on the scale of Half-Life Alyx and Saints and Sinners before I'm buying into this headset. PCVR support would definitely help me justify the purchase.

First on price, I'd argue the price is fair given the technology and the current cost of competing VR sets. On backwards compatibility, Sony has said that some titles are being updated to support PSVR2 but I understand why they are not supporting all PSVR1 games with PSVR2 out-the-gate. The controller scheme itself is pretty different from the move controllers to the new PSVR2 controllers. I'm still pissed off that Microsoft won't fix my out-of-warranty Series controller that has stick drift. Nintendo and Sony replace all controllers with stick drift issues for free, but Microsoft won't. That is reason enough to only buy my games on Playstation going forward.

Not surprising considering RE2 and 3 were from a completely different perspective from the remakes which was more consistent with the original RE4. Aiming and shooting is what needs to be improved upon from the original. The VR version of RE4 has much better aim and shoot mechanics, so much so that it makes the game a bit too easy.

I'm going to play devil's advocate and say that, yes it does have a story, but no it doesn't have a narrative. A narrative is a written or spoken account of connected events. There is some of that in Elden Ring, and I love how they handle the story in that game and wouldn't change a thing -- but i don't think it rises to the level of "a narrative". But that is just like my opinion.
