Everyone is hoping for a backwards compatible Switch 2/Pro, including myself, but just a reminder: this is Nintendo and to not get your hopes up. They do their own thing, which shouldn't even be surprising anymore.
Only if they fix their cloud save to a cloud sync that allows for multiple devices progressing in the same save game.
She is an excess heavy breather. That is my only complaint about her. I get her panting a bit after you stop running but it is constant from her and actually gets to be annoying IMO.
I'll probably pick one up when it gets a few more games that are of decent length and quality.
Looking forward to Sackboy and glad I held out picking that up on a sale.
Comment voting on this site is so worthless. Overly voted up comment: favorable to Sony. Overly down voted comment: not favorable to Sony. Should just be disabled at this point.
I'll probably pick up a PSVR2 eventually, but I feel no urgency. I doubt there will be any supply issues with the hardware except maybe around Christmas this year.
Say something slightly pro-Sony on this site: massive number of upvotes. Say something slightly pro-Microsoft on this site: massive number of downvotes. So many fanboys here.
Capcom games are up there as some of my favorites of all time from NES days to today.
After having it for awhile since it came with my Series X through that "All Access" program, all I can say is that I don't feel like I'm getting enough value out of it and I don't plan to keep the subscription going. IMO its a great service for people constantly looking for something new to play or get through content quickly and so they go through lots of games -- this is not me though.
I was hoping they would admit that shutting down Mario 35 was a huge mistake.
At some point I need to look into updating my CFW PS3 Fat up from v 4.2 or whatever it is on.
The price of something is what people are willing to pay for it. That is the only factor.
I sometimes see Lites and regular Switches on Woot.com discounted, but they are usually refurbished.
I have Game Pass because that is how I got a Series X through that All Access thing. I feel like I under-utilize it as I generally just want to play games that I own and am invested in. I don't think I will be resubscribing but I still have over a year's worth of service so maybe I'll change my mind. I do admit that I basically don't buy games on my XBox because of it. I really only buy games on the PS5, and I'm not interested in their PS+ advanced tiers.
I mean it sucks, but I'm still going to be buying it because I know there is a really good chance that it will be at least 50 hours of enjoyment if not more if it is on the same level as BOTW (which I have over 100 hours invested in).
I think the price increase across the board (XBox and Playstation games too) sucks, but I'm not going to give up gaming and find a new hobby over it.
I'll need to see more titles on the scale of Half-Life Alyx and Saints and Sinners before I'm buying into this headset. PCVR support would definitely help me justify the purchase.
"However, it has been confirmed that Ubisoft+ will not be included with a Game Pass subscription. On PC, Ubisoft+ costs £12.99 / $14.99 / €14.99 per month, so we can probably expect a console subscription to be around the same, if not a bit cheaper."
If it isn't a part of Game Pass like the EA one is, then I'm not interested.
First on price, I'd argue the price is fair given the technology and the current cost of competing VR sets. On backwards compatibility, Sony has said that some titles are being updated to support PSVR2 but I understand why they are not supporting all PSVR1 games with PSVR2 out-the-gate. The controller scheme itself is pretty different from the move controllers to the new PSVR2 controllers. Further, in-game representations of the Move controls along with button prompts that don't match...
If the frame pacing is perfect, 30 fps can be OK, but I definitely prefer 60 fps and will take the graphical hit for flame fluidity. That being said, if the game can't maintain good frame pacing at 60 fps they might as well drop it to 30 fps if they can maintain good frame pacing there. I'd rather have a 30 fps lock that is good than an 'uncapped framerate' mode that is garbage without VRR.
