I feel like MS tried to at the launch of XBox One when they flirted with locking discs to particular consoles. I love physical copies of games and hope that it never dies, but I think that, realistically, it will eventually.
Same, but with one exception: when a large part of the packaged content is in the form of a code to unlock a digital store DLC or additional game. For example: Bayonetta 1+2 for Switch physically came with the Bayonetta 2 game cart and a download code for Bayonetta 1. In those situations, I'll just buy the game off the eshop.
Yup. That was the deciding factor for me to get it on PS5 over PC or Series X was I was confident they would have a similar "HD" rumble and trigger experience as Demon's Souls. I hope it is something that they still implement but I'm not holding my breath.
If it rattles the cages of the left over gamer gate rejects, I'm all for it.
"Series S entered the new gen underpowered. It is good enough for the price I guess."
If you don't need a disc drive and 500GB of space is OK, I guess it is good enough for the price. That 500GB proprietary drive that is required for Series games is $90 - $120 - once you are considering that as a need you should be looking at just getting a Series X IMO.
MS's goal with the Series S is clear: cheapest hardware to support the minimal featu...
The Series X FPS boost and HDR features on a lot of old games is incredible. Gears of War 3 and 4 in particular look really great.
I haven't bought Uncharted 4, but I do have it through PS Plus -- haven't played through it yet. Thinking of getting this one just to play through it at the best experience possible. Also considering waiting because I bet it will be half the price in six months to a year at least at sales time.
Just go to itch.io and filter for the tags "VR" and "Adult" and call it a day. Jfc.
Multiplayer functionalities. First time and probably the only thing I've seen from CDPR in terms of a roadmap of expected features for CP2077.
"The plan remains the same for adding multiplayer functionalities to both Cyberpunk and The Witcher franchises gradually."
Believe it or don't, there are people who get laid regularly that enjoy this stuff.
TL;DR - The Nintendo Switch is under powered for modern games, and the author doesn't seems to think running ROMs is illegal because it violates the EULA. The Author needs to go back to school. Violating a EULA isn't the same as breaking the law. Come on.
It adds support for the new N64 controller for Switch that Nintendo is selling exclusively to NSO members. There. Saved you a click.
I still think we will have proper Xbox One and PS4 emulation before we have proper 360 and PS3 emulation. Those IBM processors...
At least we can finally connect our bluetooth headphones to Switch, a feature that is very sorely missing from XBox and PS.
My problem is with the Animal Crossing expansion pack being bundled with it. Seriously Nintendo? Subscription based DLC?
I use to really hate on EA but then as every other publisher out there has basically stooped to their level, they don't seem as bad these days anymore which is really fucking sad. They come out with the occasional good game that I enjoy (e.g., Titanfall 1/2, Jedi Fallen Order, Dante's Inferno...)
I've never liked any of their sports games, though.
Steam has a subscription agreement, NOT an ownership one. If you think you "own" your steam library -- you are confused. https://store.steampowered....
TLOU2 is definitely worth checking out if you haven't already.
If someone told me this was just GoPro footage of a motorcycle race, I would believe them.
I disagree that paying $9.99 for the specific games I care about isn't cheaper than paying perpetually for a subscription service filled with games I won't play and am not interested in.
There are a few titles that I'm playing but the real appeal for me is when I don't know what i want to play and have a lot of options. Most of the titles are <$20 normally or when on sale -- arguably would be better to buy the games outright so long as you are not buying brand new.
