So uh... did any of the development money go towards developing a secret good combat system? Cause from what I've seen of the combat system so far, it's really turning me off from the game.
It's funny, cause I enjoyed Link's Crossbow Training more than I did TP itself.
Just because they're pretty much only covering sequels does not mean the Wii is the loser. It's just a really stupid, uninformed site, is all. Wii is gonna be the best console to have for 2009, exclusive-wise.
Check out this list:

Now stop acting like a buffoon because you and the gaming site are quite simply uninformed.
They leave out Mercury Meltdown Revolution, and include a multi-console game, 2 ports, and 2 "eh" games.
Typical.
Kigmal, why is he out of his mind? Have you seen the gameplay comparisons between RE5 and RE4? I noticed the similarities before I even saw the comparisons. It's basically the exact same game with updated graphics. Just dumb the graphics of the game down a bit and you've got a million seller on the Wii.
You didn't really explain it at all. Nintendo's not gonna jack the price up just cause "we can make monies %D"
They wouldn't do that. It'd piss off customers.
Good. This guy seems like he has a lot of talent, and I like him. I just hope he can put more polish on his games.
This list should really not include games that can be found on the PC, too.
Augh, Mario Power Tennis (remake/port), RE:UC2, and Onechanbara?
This "top 5 hurr" list is a JOKE.
i hate internet
And Xbox 360s are for people that can't afford a computer, and PS3s are for people that don't like games.
What's your point?
Then explain the $2 increase in price.
MazzingerZ: It's people like you that are the second biggest part of the problem. Most casual gamers/buyers are definitely the first, but it's people that you, the kind that think "hurr i'm hardkore" and buy Nintendo consoles for Mario, Zelda, and Metroid, and ignore all the other gems there.
I'm enjoying de Blob more than I've enjoyed any of the above three. And I've really enjoyed Boom Blox too. And No More Heroes.
2009 is gonna drain my wallet.
In sales, anyways. In games? Arguably.
I noticed a couple of days ago that it's $2 more than all non-import N64 games. But SSB WAS released in Japan. After Iwata saying that he would've liked to have seen Melee remade with online functions if Sakurai refused to make Brawl, I'm thinking there's a fairly good possibility that SSB N64 is getting online play.
VGChartz: a reliable source of nothing at all, really.
I think they got this bogey got his facts wrong. 2009 is gonna be the year of the Wii, in both sales and production of high-quality games.
Before fanboys disagree, take a look at the Wii 2009 exclusive list.
Great. I suppose now it'll be less like de Blob (amazing, fun game with lots of love poured into it) and more like Generic Action Game Featuring Generic Action Character.
Let's hope I'm wrong.
But on the other hand, an overhaul could be good. I'm just hoping the above scenario doesn't come true.
Can't wait for this game...
Personally, I think both are killing the industry. Casuals buy games like Horsez 2 and Imagine: Teacher, and people that think they're hardcore gamers (but actually aren't) seem to only buy shootan games with top of the line graphics. These games require lots of financial support, and it's not worth the risk investing in a new IP. So expect more Halo spin-offs, and Gears of War 32.
I just hope the actual hardcore gamers buy good-looking new IPs like Mad World, Muramasa, and prett...
I'm wondering why Left 4 Dead is on the Xbox 360 list...
edit: Also, nice skewed, misleading chart.
