"parallels to Modern Warfare border on obscene"
This really made me laugh, half of the things that are "copying" Modern Warfare are things that most of us done in SOCOM 1 and SOCOM 2 back on the PS2.
If you want to do a military shooter without, spec ops, without sniping, without vehicles, without air support, then look wahey we are mgically back in World War 2 again and if they made another WW2 game everyone would be bitching and moaning ...
He is comparing it graphically to what hes seen in trailers of Black Ops. Total Rubbish, if thats the case then, Forza 3 is no Gran Turismo 5, granted i havent played GT5 but i seen some screen shots and it looks nicer.
yeah 8/10 is fucking abysmal.........
So instead of trying the game for yourself you just didnt bother with multiplayer because someone told you it was not very good?
I havent tried the game either so in contrast to you, someone told me the multiplayer is AMAZING so i will just blindly believe that and write about it in broken english on the interweb.
Hadnt really played fifa for a few years but yeah its not the best, i like the game and all but getting a game online is an ordeal, lag in single player is baffling and having to select my language every time i start the game is really annoying! Kind of wish i had just held off and spent my money on PES or castlevania.
A half decent DVD RW drive only costs about £20 anyway so if you are building a pc you may as well put one in for the rare occasion you actually need it.
I tend to not complete a lot of my games, some i have just hated and others i have liked the online play far more than single player so plough hours and hours into that without completing the single player story or collecting many trophies or achievements.
I know Killzone2 i really enjoyed but i played about 2 hours of single player and about a month and a half of playing it online almost every day.
Uncharted2 i completed but that was it again i spent the maj...
haha i have no idea where that stuff came from maybe N4G cant handle all the money symbols i needed to use to show how rich nintendo are!
All cringeworthy.
Nintendo have went that far beyond attracting gamers they are at the stage of just targetting the lowest common denominator to milk some money from them. Clearly this is not about gaming its about £££££ £££££& #163;.
I did play like that in my first couple of games running about like a loon but you soon realise it doesnt work, you stick out like a sore thumb and you get hardly any points. If i pull of a good stealth kill i will get about 600 pts where as a run and stab in the guys face will get you only 100pts. If you blend into a crowd and make your pursuer kill someone that looks like you that will earn you points too.
I got it yesterday and it really is good fun, if you play it properly its a very good experience. From this video the guy just sprints everywhere and it looks thoroughly terrible.
You can blend in with crowds, you get points for making your pursuer kill the wrong target and evading them.
You get more points for a stealth kill than just sprinting around the map stabbing people like this guy, i would imagine someone like this would be bottom of the scoreboard ...
So did you want Bungie to say "we think there are too many shooters this gen, we know you want a new halo game, but we are not going to make it, there are already too many"
I get that people need to push the envelope and develop the industry as a whole and make progress but what is the obsession with bemoaning games that DON'T do this?
Halo is a game people want to play, people wanted a sequel, people wanted the game to stay findamentally the same. Microsoft and Bungie delivered. The game is great fun and has loads of content for the £35 i paid.
Every form of entertainment be it TV, movies, books all have this type of s...

nice one just added to my download queue for when i get in from work!
Where i live GAME bought over all the EB games stores about 10 years ago haha
Shame people are losing there jobs but the main problems here is GAME's saturation of the market.
Where i work right now im walking distance from 2 GAME stores and 2 Gamestations.
GAME got greedy and they have just opened too many stores, throw in the fact that digital distribution is becoming more popular and it was inevitable that they would finally have to start closing stores.
gamesindustry.biz usually has some job listings, I managed to get my job at Rockstar through an agency though, the advert was non specific and didnt say what company it was or anything.
You need to search for QA tester or Quality Assurance and not Games Tester as they are usually listed under QA. Entry level test positions will almost always be contract work though.
you forgot to add "in the USA" everywhere else is not the USA and sales are completely different in other regions.
