I bought it for £25 by waiting a week this year for places to start doing decent deals. I suspect many people that are tired of paying £45 but enjoy the series will also be happy to wait a little while to get it cheaper too.
The deal i used was via an app called SimplyTap for the iphone and android, they sell you MW3 for £34.99 from carphone warehouse and then as your first purchase you get £10 cashback from simplytap paid direct to the card you made the p...
Very small install size was surprising and nice considering how good the game looks, I am playing on a 2011 macbook pro and it auto selects high settings. Juding from the pictures linked in this post the PC version is very nice again considering such a small install.
All this does is make me glad I got the PC version, both of these look a bit washed out compared to what I played on PC last night.
If you look at the website they give around 15% of games they have reviewed 5 stars. 5 Stars on GiantBomb means:
"While we don't believe any game is perfect, we recommend this game without reservation."
So they are not saying 15% of the games they review are the best games on earth just that they would recommend them without reservation.
Sad state of affairs that the company that actually made the game now no longer exists.
What a trash article.
Having bought the last 4 COD games I will be passing this year, still find it increasingly hard to let it pass and not give in to buying it though.
Keep telling myself saving up for my holiday will be worth it.
I have never been able to trade in PC games as far as I can remember, so not being able to trade in games on a platform like steam is a non issue for most people.
The second hand market is primarily console games and always has been.
Yeah I noticed that and posted about it in the comment below.
I did just notice that myself, thats pretty poor, the people that bought it are paying customers not playtesters.
This guy needs to go on a PR course.
I don't understand why anyone would be angry.
It is a great game, I am happy more people are getting the chance to play it.
The car licence plate reads OCTOBER, does that mean its out in October?
All the house foreclosure shows is that the game is based in the real world.
Good luck playing on may 24th.
If you wanted to play an open and expansive game then Uncharted is about as far as you could get from that.
We all know that, so to moan about linearity seems a bit disingenuous.
This IS a video game, It wouldn't work as a movie, since its about 9 hours long for a start.
Reading way too much into it here, sorry but that will not be the release date.
They are only just hiring QA testers for one year contracts just now, so the game will be out in around 1 year or just over one year. It has been the same with all other GTA Games, the temporary QA testers are hired about 1 year prior to intended release.
I worked on San Andreas which followed this formula and a friend done QA on 4 which followed the same formula again, I dont see them changing it again this time.
BioWare have a plan for this, the actual release date will be smooth because all pre orders will already have been staggered into the game during early access.
Based on when you pre ordered the game you get access before release, they are doing this to stagger the log ons and not floo dthe servers on day one to try and have a smooth launch as possible.
I will be shocked if there are little to no problems though, every MMO launch I have played has been pretty ...
This video sucks though, the actual differnce is insane, the console versions don't even run at 720p. The PC version running on anything other than LOW at 1280x720 looks way superior.
A comparison video where they tell you nothing about the hardware is just bad.
There is a guy that beat Dark Souls in 1hour30mins, a game that took me 70 hours to beat playing it like a normal person.
I don't know why people get worked up by speed runs. I worked at RockStar North and we had a guy thats sole job was to complete the entire game 100%, by the time it released he could 100% San Andreas in 12 hours.
Pointless comparison, its like doing a what car is better:
Rolls Royce
Ford Focus
Vauxhall Astra
When one of the options is so vastly superior and in a completely different price bracket, comparing it to the other two is pointless.
You are correct, if it hits 2012 it will be late 2012, they are only now doing interviews for 1 year long QA Tester contracts, they do this every time and the testers usually work for 12-18 months. If they are only just now hiring then there is very little chance of a 2012 release date.
The current QA team is about 40 strong they will be increasing this to about double the size.
