I would say it's something to compete with the Uncharted franchise. I doubt they want to create competition for it's flag ship Halo. Gears I think has really ran it's course, so it could be a replacement for it. My money is on something Uncharted like, its the main area Sony has not been challenged.
Notice that you didn't mention the original Most Wanted in your assessment, which to me is the key element missing from the game. This game is nothing like Most Wanted and if your not a fan of Paradise then you will be sorely disappointed.
I can't believe that last RE movie made 217 million at the box office. No wonder they keep making that garbage, if they spent 50 mill making the movie they still cleaned up. I'm just stunned that people actually pay money to watch that shit at the theater.
They also knocked 50 off the special edition Halo 4 console. The custom console with game and 2 controllers is @ $349 now.
I agree with you I like 6. The originals were awesome in their day, but they had to evolve. The clunky controls and jacked up camera angles of the originals would not stand up to todays standards. People just whine too much, like Fuct head there "Have you played 1 thu 3? Wait you have an Xbox don't you." Yeah I played the first three and Nemesis sucked! Plus you left out Code Veronica and Zero which were stellar games. By the way what the hell does having an Xbox have to do with...
For those of you who still think we don't need next gen, then don't buy it when it comes out. Don't even read the articles about it or comment on them, cuz your not ready. For the rest of us, hurry up and get this shit out! I want it now!!
At least left 4 dead isn't boring. This game looks like a zombie game from 2003. You speak of survival and realism, yet the video shows killing zombies with a flash light! Come on!. Dead Island had a lot of bugs n glitches, but even it looks superior to this garb.
You are very close to being right. The WiiU is not too soon, it's just that Sony has played their hand well. Just scan this website and a few others and you will notice this thing is stealing all of the headlines. I don't think they wanted to play all of their cards either, that's why the price cut was not announced. If they wait till the end of OCT. to announce a price cut then they can steal head lines again just before the launch of Halo 4 and the WiiU. It's a very clever d...
The only thing I want to hear out ol Gabes mouth is the launch dates for Half Life 3 and Left 4 Dead 3. Untill then he needs to quit cryin. Valve is a software company that has garnered its success through its games and its fan base. Its time for Gabe to quit talkin shit and start releasing some games their fan base have patiently been waiting for. Or one of these days you may turn around and find that your fan base is gone.
Exactly. Where do they get these numbers? Do they just pull them out of their ass or what. This sounds like something to shape public opinion more than anything. How would they know if I did or did not quit gaming this year or the other 4 people in my house that game. They don't. They must be looking at sales figures for consoles and mobile. Misinterpreting that info and drawing ridiculous conclusions from that. Why don't they understand that the core has been there since launch day o...
Take your time and polish this game, I enjoyed the hell out of the first one even though it was a buggy mess.
I agree with you, although this game isn't for every one, I think it found its niche among gamers. I spent hours playing online with friends and had a blast the whole time. I'm definitely ready for some more.
Well they only included it last year to get the mindless ones hooked on it. Now that they have tasted the crack theres no more freebies. Why so surprised?
This sounds more like Burnout then it does Most Wanted. I like Burnout, but its a different game then Most Wanted. Many people have been waiting on a true Most Wanted sequel for a long time and this sounds like its just gonna miss the mark. I haven't heard any mention of customizable cars, which was one of the best parts in the first game. Saving my junkman parts to build a beast of a car was awesome. Custom paint, rims, and decals are all necessary for a sequel. Are there going to be t...
I'm glad to see the dislike for digital software in these comments. It will truly be a sad day when games and movies go totally digital. I don't think the general public much likes the idea of it, but the 27% increase in digital sales still bothers me. They can never take away our physical copies so long as we as gamers don't buy the digital shit. I'm sorry to say but Steam right now is the tip of the digital spear. By offering games at dirt cheap prices its hard to ignore it....
I hope they are hard at work on 3. Loved both of these games and spent countless hours playing the multiplayer.
Can u say next gen!
I'm not trying to hate on Zelda, cuz I've enjoyed the series up to Twilight Princess. It just seems to me that Zelda has been stuck in last gen. The last two entries have had appalling graphics. I don't see how any one can sit through the murky looking skyward sword on a HDTV. Having to read all of the dialog is boring as hell. I mean seriously, its 2012 and we dont have voice acting? Come on! Then theres the "cute" factor. Every character and enemy has a childish design...
Why is it so hard to understand the Batman comparison? Its about the production value of the two, not which is better. The 60's Batman used POW! and BANG! for special effects and looks like it was mainly filmed on a stage (360/PS3). Now compare that to the special effects in the new Batmans, intense explosions, sky hook pulling Batman out of sky scraper, football fields collapsing behind the player as he runs down the field ect.(Next Gen). When you look at it that way it makes perfect sen...
Looked pretty damn cool to me, maybe not finished. They said it was a psn/xbla game, so it would of only been $15 bucks at most. Already a bargain.
