Left 4 Dead 3 would be a nice announce, but I would rather see it and Half Life 3 wait for next gen.
My comments are made because I used to be a nintendo fan, But as a fan I feel like the big N has just pissed all over us. They sold us a new system that was a gamecube with a new controller (wii). I have played skyward sword, as a huge fan of Zelda, and it feels so dated. Not just on the graphics side either. Games like Skyrim, Mass Effect, Dragonage,ect, blows Skyward sword away. I suppose you change your gpu in your pc every 6 months? If not then it would be out of date. Must be why all of the newest and hottest games sold more than double on the console than the pc huh?
The cloud storage is a nice touch. Other than that, seems pretty useless unless you have a kinect.
Did anybody notice the "inside Halo 5" option beside the "grandmas room" option the reporter pointed out. @ 2:36 into the video the reporter was clearly more interested in being able to change the room into grannys room as he picked it out between a Project Gotham file and a inside Halo 5 file. What the hell kinda reporter would miss that one?
@Bob570 Nice links to the trailers that awesome. I'll agree on the ODST being CGI; but as far as the main games go, those trailers were made from scenes directly from the games.
I have been a fan of Halo since the first box and always pay close attention when a new one is announced. One thing I noticed over the years is Halo never uses pre-rendered cut scenes in the game or the trailers (except halo wars). They have always used the in game engine. Having said that take a look at that e3 trailer again and tell me the 360 is pulling that off?
What really seems smart to me would be to launch a new console with a new Halo at the same time the Wii U launches. This would take the spot light off of Nintendo. The next box will sell like hot cakes if it had a new Halo attached to it. No need to try and sucker people. If you build it, they will come!
I always thought it would be stupid to launch a new Halo trilogy on the 360 and then finish it up with 5 and 6 on the next system. Now a simultaneous launch I can see. I for one have seen enough of what this gen has to offer. Time to move on.

UC3 has its great moments, but I have to say that UC2 had more of them. I think by him saying that Naughty Dog wouldn't reuse a recipe points to them not trying to reach the epic level of UC2 by recycling its set pieces and such. Which is a good thing, but also leads to people feeling it wasn't as good as UC2. Hey, its hard to top perfection!
True, but would that have happened if the 3DS was still at the $250 price? Probably not. Which was my point on Nintendo back pedaling on their mistakes.
If its twice as powerful as the the Box or the PS then it still is only twice as powerful as 5 and 6 yr old tech. PC is supposedly 10x that right now. The question is how will it hold up to the next gen of consoles. With Ms looking at 2013 as a launch year and Sony surely to follow, will it then seem that the Wii U is outdated? Time will tell. One thing is for sure, no one, not even the big N, is touting this console to be a massive graphical power house.
If I remember right Nintendo said they wasn't going to sell any of the new controllers separate because it wouldn't be able to sell it at a decent price and the fact that you can only use one per console. I'll bet nintendo will have one hellva warranty on them if this all turns out to be true.
Nintendo has always went its own way, which was generally a odd direction, but managed to keep its fans happy. I think that success has made nintendo a little stubborn headed. I mean come on, to release a new hand held without a second analog in this era of gaming is proof of this. Now to say that the big N is not in trouble is just naive. I'm glad they put the option of switching back to the old graphics, thats a really cool feature. The library was one of the hardest levels to beat on legendary, I cant wait to see if I still remember my way through.
