@ joint, just buy a crappie $50 360 arcade or 4 gig slim off craiglist, play GTA 5 than re sell everything. That's what I did with Gears of War 3 and ended up making a profit off the system. Only $20 but hey.
@sitdown. Aww man you're screwed. You can't have a 60 gig with ps+. You'll miss way to much. I have the 160 gig and I'm frustrated to the point I'm ordering a 750 gig next Friday.
It changed my mind in terms I may get a One down the road, maybe a year or two instead of never. But I'm giving it time to make sure the hardware isn't massively defective and they don't return their anti consumer policies.
Some racers are more arcade and some are sims, you can mod cars in most of both styles. That is more
Yeah, now that they've copied every single one of Sony's policy and followed that up with a weaker system, B.S. about cloud computing (it's just not gonna help as much as people think, i.e. at best it'll put it at PS4 level but with only with an internet connection) and now it's the console to get. Yeah, sure, MS just continues it's follow the leader act it's been doing...since forever.
Not really, PSPGO was doing it before Xbox One, difference was Sony still gave an option in the 3000 that wasn't pure digital.
Didn't read the article did ya guys? It's actually suggesting Mattrick will get more power within the company.
I'm a tad blown. My bad for having zero reading compression.
Seriously....needing the physical disk that is actually required to even install the game is now considered DRM. As FYI you need to cartridge to play super Mario on the NES. Damn Atari/intellivision/Nintendo for starting DRM.
Care to explain how they're gonna do that with an off line console that's no longer region locked?
@ Fox And what do all of those devices have in common? You can turn them off. Granted you could unplug the console from the wall every time you were done playing..but that...if anyone finds that acceptable in this day in age, than more power to them.
Though I'm all about GT, what's that got to do with Forza 5?
It was also running on a PC with pretty decent GPU (and I would assume a better CPU, but that's speculation)...I.E. much better than the Xbox One's. And yeah, the CPU's in both consoles are fairly weak. Sure they'll be ok for a couple of years, but they are going to show their age much more quickly than the 360 or the PS3. The x86 architecture means these systems are gonna be optimized much quicker than any other console generation. Personally I don't care. I think the lat...
So what they're saying is the Xbox1 has already 30 pre orders, cause god knows there is about 5 Blockbusters left in the world
Kinda looks like a slim line PS2
completely agree. These are sometimes 20yr+ games that 5 years ago were worthless. And now the people have a decent internet connect and a hard drive, all of a sudden these games go up 10 fold. Not to mention the shear amount of free emulators that plays all of these games on a PC. Crap I have a emulator on my transformer tablet that I play these games on....for free
@skarlett, you sound like a government official talking about terrorist. lol.
It's gotta be man..Ghost wasn't the most anticipated game of the week let alone 10 yrs. I'm more excited about what PS+ is gonna bring to the table over the summer than Ghost.
@ rusty, common was obviously calling out hdshatter and his figure of speech. Obviously anyone would accept a horse kick to the testicles for a billion dollars let alone an xbox. He wasn't saying non sense to Sony's budget.
O/T no amount of marketing money is gonna undo the free marketing the xbox1 reveal did for Nintendo and Sony. And no amount of money is gonna change the fact MS hasn't come out and stopped these so called rumors. The xbox1 will sell, to 1 of 3 ...
@nyro
I immediately finished with like you just don't care.
On topic..now that the reports the MS was actually making it easier for the NSA to get into our crap including skydrive, there's no way I can in good faith buy this console with my little kids around. Way to hackable with windows 8. If it was just me, wouldn't care, but with little ones, gotta care.
