Just to play devils advocate...the PS4 has already had a price drop too than. They had a pre-release price drop when they decided to remove their camera and MSRP $399.99
Not for me either, for me the problem was the ps2 style graphics..Black looked better IMO.....now that I mention Black, lets get a darn HD remake of Black, game was awesome.

I didn't hate forza 5 at all, it's a great racer, def when you consider it was a launch game. However, it was a disappointment when the game was downgraded graphically, and it was..no point in arguing a fact. Doesn't make it a bad game, or a bad racer, and it does look nice, not just what I was expecting from their previous builds. And my expectation level was set via turn 10 when they showed off the game.

Umm...when did Sony start with the re-activation thing, because I've never ever had to reactive anything and I've been a plus member for over 2 years.
So.....everyone likes to get their panties in a bunch about how quickly MS dropped support for the O.G. xbox when the 360 was released, than they re- bunch them when they continue to support the 360 so they don't make the same mistake twice? I don't get it...personal I love the fact Sony supports their systems well after their newer ones has released, why is it a negative when MS does it?

They dropped support for the OG Xbox because they signed a shit agreement with Nvidia where the cost to MS to supply the GPU never dropped. I.E a $20 part was still costing them $100 four years later. It had zero to do with when they came into the market. And they are still supporting the 360. Is it their main focus? I haven't pre ordered myself. I'm just so on the fence. I have a hard time renting a game for $60. Maybe I'm wrong here, but once the servers get shut down its unplayable. Is that correct?

Maybe they are disagreeing with you because......they aren't disappointed? Maybe most people realize the system is 3 months old and doesn't exactly have a plethora of content, let alone content they can give out free. Really...no one is clamering for emulation for forza, gears is already on the PC. Fables gone down hill. And if Viva Piñata is apart of the best that the 360 has to offer than I'm renaming the 360 the Wii lite.

It caters to the PC gamers who don't build their own. It could be a stepping stone for console gamers to go to PC. I could see teenage kids convincing their parents to buy them a steam machine for "school". Never underestimate the ignorance of the general public. I think steam machines could have a market. IMO their biggest problem is the OS is Linux based, and there just aren't nearly as many games that support linux compared to Windows. We'll see what happens though.

I honestly was thinking, that can't be true. There's gotta be more 360 games that were exclusive that weren't FPS. Now that I've sat here for 10 or so mins, Alan Wake was the only one I could think of that I'd ever go back too that wasn't a FPS. Jesus, if you aren't in to FPS, the 360 really was a waste of your money.
I loved the Gamecube just because of the hours of fun my wife and I had. It was the first system we gamed together on. However, Gamecube was really the beginning of the "modern" Nintendo if you will. Small childlike cube design with it's own built in purse handle. The only "adult" game I can think of was Resident Evil 4 (though a helluva a adult game). Though I personally don't enjoy what Nintendo brings to the table anymore, I certainly don't ever want to see ...
Tomb Raider was one of those games that got pushed aside because of how many games I had left to play with my PS3. So I don't mind paying the $60 for the PS4 version, and honestly if I had played it back when it was released, I, like many, wouldn't be re buying it.
