Am I the only one thinking that this next gen is a complete ripoff!? 1.6 ghz? Really? I know its 8 cores but the X360 had 3 cores and dual threads at 3.2 ghz and the cell at 1 ppc at 3.2 and their spe at 3.2. Not impressed. Ram is good but cpu sucks.

Try thinking mid level pc specs with more limited functionality. More than 350 for new Xbox or ps is a rip.

Ask yourself this...would sony continue to support the ps1/2 if it only moved 40 million units? Why continue supporting a dying system? Doesn't make much sense. There are a few problems with bc on ps4. First let's take into consideration of the CPU. The Cell and amd a8 or a10 will be different architecture. Then with memory. The ps3 uses only 256 but of high speed memory so that developers use their memory different, that will be an issue if they have more, obviously but not as fast, probable. Then on to the video card. From the article, price and apple killed sony. If you can create a similar experience for a fraction of the cost, consumer will go with the cheaper option. It would work if gamestop would give a portion of their used sales to the developers. I said developers, not publishers. The problem with their mentality, much like twinkies fate is that they won't lose a little bit of profits to save the company, much like the union wouldn't take a small cut in labor rates to save their jobs.
