About damn time...
I generally always buy games for PC when possible, since I have quite a powerful rig that's an easy choice.
However, when it comes to games that are only available on consoles (I also have a PS3 and 360) I do try to end up with whichever version is better, but sometimes i ended up with the bad version and it isn't nice :S
Enjoy your 2fps.
They did an excellent job on all of the launch games considering they only had a couple hours before launch before launch to develop them imo lol :P.
The best console doesn't always win, I mean look at Wii vs PS3/360...
Nintendo are just stupidly overrated imo.
I gave it a chance, but it made me hate the game even more. This game just plain sucks.
If the demo is supposed to make me want to buy the game, it isn't doing a very good job.
Also the battle music just plain sucks.
No buy.
The SNES was limited by its crappy CPU. (Lag is noticeable in lots of SNES games and Genesis has noticably faster and more "active" games, e.g more going on at the screen at once.)
N64 used cartridges which made it a lot more limited than the PS1 & Saturn when it came to game size and for this it suffered a lot.
The Gamecube again had the problem of low storage space, but not as bad as the N64.
Nintendo always seems to do someth...
Maybe they should respond the community on more annoying matters first, like that crappy web based GUI that the game now uses...
Apple DOES get away with it, check out how powerful their macs are vs similar priced high end PCs...
Many people still try to say they're better.
I'm probably going to buy a Wii-U simply to play the exclusives, but come on if somebody believes that it's going to be able to stand up to the future Sony and Microsoft consoles they're just kidding themselves.
Nintendo pulled the cheap family friendly console trick once, it probably won't work again, last time MS and Sony were caught by surprise.
I don't see what all the complaining is about... I didn't buy my PS3 to play PS1 or PS2 games. I won't be buying a PS4 to play PS3 games on either.
May as well just play on the original console anyway, it will always work better than emulated BC. Even hardware based BC still has a few problems, I would rather just play the games as they were intended.
I'm mostly a PC gamer myself, but I'm glad someone finally took the plunge and replaced our ancient game consoles.
Some of the Wii-U games look interesting, I'm prolly gonna pick one up.
It isn't next gen.
It's current gen now. PS3 and 360 are previous gen :P
You obviously didn't use XP when it was first released... it was even worse than Vista, glitchy as hell.
I honestly rather would use Vista, it has a nicer GUI than that POS which Windows 8 calls a GUI...
They played in the car like the normal radio stations.
In the PC versions there is a folder called MP3 in the GTA installation folder, you can just drop MP3 files into there and they will appear as a radio station in-game. The radio station just cycles through the MP3s.
I don't know how to do it in the Xbox versions though.
You can in the PC versions of GTA3, GTA:Vice City and GTA4, I've not tried in any of the others.
Rage incoming.
Even if it had a more powerful GPU than my desktop PC I would still not play it, gaming on a touch screen sucks. (DS excluded since it has buttons too)
Nah, it still uses software rendering. Maybe next time...
