Just because you were late to the party doesn't mean everybody was.
PS3 is so old now it'd be stupid to keep it as the main platform for much longer.
Still got my Master System, Mega Drive and Dreamcast. I use all 3 of them quite a lot surprisingly, shame Sega was too stupid to use their IPs that made them successful in the Master System and Mega Drive eras on the Saturn and Dreamcast, they may have fared better.

Last I checked, PC textures exist right now, and have done at this quality for a long time.
That's hardly "Next gen", better looking PC games already exist.
Nintendo simply caught up with modern hardware, that's all. The PS3 and 360 are using 7 year old hardware, it's nothing to write about just because it looks closer to the PC version than the others.

It would help if they stopped making crappy games and started including the elements of the FF games that actually made them good again.

As if somebody from the RE team is trying to lecture about gameplay...
By the time games detailed enough to warrant the use of dual cards come out, you will be able to buy a single card more powerful than both of them cheaper anyway, so what's the point?
I'm happy with my single GTX670 anyway and it maxes Crysis 3 just fine with no lag, no need for me to get another one.
Tbh running dual GPUs is asking for trouble anyway, they have all sorts of problems...
If specs didn't matter then we would all still be using our Master System and NES consoles...
If I wanted a glorified tablet, I'd buy an Ouya, not a PS4.
