I don't see why anybody should be panicking.
Even if a console is a commercial failure (Not saying the Wii-U will be but this is a worst case scenario), it will still get the first party exclusives that make the system worth buying.
I wouldn't buy a Nintendo to play third party games on it, although it's a plus, we all know Nintendo consoles are more notable for the first party exclusives on them

I collect retro systems and games, but I don't care for collecting sealed boxed versions or whatever, I like playing my retro systems and games.

They're my favorite MegaDrive games which I would like seeing remade, but it'll probably never happen except for the Sonic games obviously.

Nah, on a serious note, it's probably better this way. If the chips aren't as high end that means they won't be using as much power and producing as much heat. Hopefully there won't be as many PS4 hardware failures as there was PS3 ones.
Run your AMD GPU without downloading the driver from their website and see how well that goes.

It is doing pretty crap right now, but Nintendo isn't stupid. They'll have games in development that they will probably announce when the time is right to gather more interest in the console.
I'm not really interested in it though, latest Nintendo I own is a GameCube. I got rid of the Wii because the games were so bad, plus my GC was more reliable for playing actual GC games anyway.

New Star Trek sucks.
Anything before and including Deep Space Nine was the high point of the series imo.
Enterprise was a bit weaker but was still okay overall.
This new game will be a crappy game based on a crappy film.
Kinda funny when they say this and it's already weaker than most gaming PCs...
