I know it was supposed to be a PS3 game, but could it be The Last Guardian? Space is a vague term and is synonymous with time, and it's technically a classic franchise (Ico, Shadow of the Colossus).

Understandably (and unfortunately), a lot of copyright holders don't see it that way. I'm one who's very much into the history of video games, be it hardware, magazines, and of course the games themselves. I'm not saying piracy is OK, but I'm all for the preservation of its history.

Should they? It's not like it's an MMO. It doesn't have an economy, and the game never had any balance to begin with.

You're reaching. Under certain conditions, they most certainly can achieve those speeds.

Fanboys can't grasp the fact that power means nothing, but the games are everything.

"Adam Sessler has done journalism since 1998 and look what happened to him and what he did. He blew up rumors like they were true, contradicted himself, and had hidden bias before he got fired from G4."

How ironic. You basically just described a fanboy. That basically makes you a hypocrite, does it not? I mean, ...

I understand that digital is convenient for many, but it's not for everyone. Some of us like to collect and resell our games. Seeing as I dabble in both, physical and digital co-exist just fine.

Furthermore, you're never going to get digital prices that compete with Steam's because you don't own any of your games on Steam. You're merely paying for a license to play them.

"It would be like buying a brand new laptop with all the software missing and no internet ports, usb or wifi all at regular price for the same model that has everything."

What about the people who devote themselves to one platform? Wouldn't you say those people are missing out on everything gaming has to offer? Same logic.

"Well, you actually made my point because PCs are also capable of making graphics as good as a PS3/PS4 right now, and the needs of those people aren't being addressed."

I'd have to disagree. The needs of PC gamers are being addressed just fine. I can name numerous multiplat games from this generation that looked significantly better on PC than their console counterparts (Dead Space series, Batman Arkham series, Battlefield series, the list goes on). PS4 may ...

Thanks for the correction. That article was nowhere to be found last night when I posted my previous comment. Seems to be a crappy game in general. They even re-used a cut-scene from MW2.

Yeah, and people seem to forget that PS3 cost $600 when it came out, yet most multiplats ended up playing better on 360 throughout their lifespans. Power isn't everything. The PS4 isn't even out yet and we already have a review for a 1080p game with framerate issues that the other ports don't seem to have.

And I say this as someone who's getting a PS4 first, so don't get your panties in a wad, fanboys.

@darthv72: Well said. Those who disagreed with you shouldn't be allowed to call themselves gamers.

@pixelsword: "Why is it that when people say "PC graphics" all of a sudden every PC that ever existed can do 4k, 1000fps?"

When people say "PC graphics," they're talking about what PCs are capable of right now, regardless of its install base. He made a valid point. PC games have been pushing higher resolutions than consoles ...

I'm with you, Lukas. Ever since I saw Gotham City in the far distance of Arkham Asylum and the sheer scope of Gotham City outside the confinements of Arkham City (from the top of Wonder Tower), I've been waiting for Rocksteady to open it up completely. It seemed like a logically step in the right direction for the franchise. I don't care how good people think Origins is. As far as I'm concerned, if it's not from Rocksteady, it doesn't count. The game was a move in the ...

I'd rather see Rocksteady do a proper TMNT game in the style of Batman Arkham. Out of the Shadows left a really bad taste in my mouth. Just imagine playing co-op with all 4 of the turtles (maybe even additional characters, like Casey) in an open world New York against the Foot using Rocksteady's Freeflow combat system. Now imagine playing any iteration of your favorite turtle, from Eastman & Laird to Nickelodeon's 2012 rendition. The 90's kid in me can only dream.

I heard that someone with a modded Xbox 360 had spawned one in GTA Online, and it's been spreading like wildfire via this duplication glitch. The video's creator says it works on PS3 though, so I'm not sure what to believe. If it was in fact originally obtained by a hack, then I suggest not even touching it, as it'll likely get people banned for modifying the game.

The law enforcement in this game is a lot more lenient on the player than in past games. I think we both agree that in a persistent online world there should be consequences. There's people who disagree, spouting that GTA is about chaos, but there should be equal measures of order to that chaos to keep things balanced. I see what you're saying. Honestly, I wouldn't mind your idea in conjunction with mine. It would be something else for the player to do at least.

That's essentially how it was in RDR. It made sense in that environment, but I don't think it really suits GTA, nor would it discourage people from going on killing sprees. The problem with GTAO is that it lacks the ability to police itself using its own built-in law enforcement.

My suggestions:

1) If you kill a player, it should be an automatic 2-star wanted level. Additional player kills should increase your wanted level a lot sooner.

That's not everyone's idea of fun though. Yeah, it's great being able to do anything you want, but there should be consequences. What amazes me is that with so many things to do for fun, people choose to kill others in the most unoriginal of ways. There's nothing spectacular about mowing people down in a Lazer, Rhino or Buzzard.

My friends and I decided to mess around with some people by stockpiling ourselves, hopping on the train, putting $9000 bounties on ea...

The Good/Bad Sport system is deeply flawed. I've blown up a player's car (they tried messing with me first), receiving the Bad Sport warning, only to enter another Freemode shortly thereafter and got presented with a $1000 reward for good behavior. It definitely needs more tweaking, but I'm glad it's there. If you want to troll people, you should be thrown with others who do the same thing. The trolls who are crying about this just don't want to be challenged by other trol...
