@Saijahn

You're correct.

"On May 17, 2012, we announced the suspension of the enforcement of our 250 GB usage allowance and that we would trial and launch new data usage plans. We continue to trial different data usage plans in certain markets. In the trial markets, a monthly data usage plan was implemented where any usage which exceeds the monthly data plan amount is subject to an additional charge. For non-trial markets, we will continue to contact...

Comcast has a 250GB/mo cap last I checked. While 250GB/mo is plenty for most, it's still a ridiculous restriction in this digital age we live in.

I've been waiting years for this port and I wasn't disappointed. As a huge fan of the original and REmake, it was just as good as I remember it.

Sometimes it's hard going back to outdated graphics and gameplay mechanics, but there's a trick to that. If you play something from a previous generation, newer generations look new again. For example, if you play Atari 2600 for a day, followed by NES the next, NES will look amazing again. It's just a matter of re...

Modern Combat and Bad Company are still THE best Battlefield games I've played on console. Especially when it comes to vehicle physics. Why? Because they were designed exclusively for consoles. I wish DICE would create another console-only Battlefield (Bad Company 3 please) instead of giving us these half-assed PC ports.

Point being that Basement Crawl wasn't a AAA title with a bunch of hype surrounding it. Destiny was.

And you're right, I didn't play Ghosts. But it doesn't take a genius to know the game was ass. It was also released in late 2013, so I'm not sure why you're even bringing it up.

Ooo, the "must not be too good" card. Dude, it's CoD, not rocket science. Care to check my stats? I don't care how good you think YOU are, it doesn't change the fact that those weapons are OP.

And we're talking most disappointing games of 2014. Who cares about Basement Crawlers? lol

What isn't better than Ghosts? AW suffers from severe weapon imbalance. To make matters worse, they've only issued one balance patch since release, yet the issue still persists. The BAL-27 and AK12 dominate everything else. Ironically, they're both unlocked from the start. Even Black Ops 2 is a better game than AW. Hell, I'd even go as far as saying MW3 is better.

As for Destiny, what isn't disappointing about that game? It tries to mimic Phantasy Star On...

Dark Souls 2 is a solid game, but I'm in the same boat as you. It definitely wasn't as good as the previous Souls games in terms of difficulty. The bosses were pushovers. I'm hoping the PS4 release is a lot harder. The DLC is supposedly harder, too.

I had a blast with Watch Dogs and Titanfall. I didn't get sucked into the Watch Dogs hype, and I went into Titanfall knowing it focused on multiplayer. Neither disappointed me.

Destiny and CoD: Advanced Warfare should be on the list.

@BlackWolf12

This game technically isn't a MMO, so it's not really fair to compare it to WoW, but WoW is a progressive game as well, and its expansions only add to / improve everything you could do before. (In all fairness, I can only speak for The Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King, as I quit before Cataclysm, which changed the landscape of Azeroth completely.)

It's clear that Bungie doesn't have a clue what they're doing, and I&#...

It was especially cool during a kill cam when someone would die from a Bouncing Betty.

I'm definitely ready for a return to WW2. I hope it features decapitations like World at War had. Why they haven't used that in any subsequent games is beyond me.

"Oh, and for what is worth, Uncharted 4 is undoubtedly the most impressive – visually – console game we’ve seen to date. This comparison does not mean that it looks awful. On the contrary."

It helps to actually read an article before forming an opinion.

SFIV is a beautiful game when it's in action, but if you take a screenshot of it, it doesn't look like anything special. I'm sure SFV is no different.

What every game boils down to is fun factor. We all have our idea of fun. If a game is fun for you, then it's a good game. Not every game has to be innovative, evolutionary, or revolutionary to be fun. I started playing games when I was 5 because I thought they were fun. I didn't care about resolution or what other people thought about them. Still don't.

You're entitled to your opinion, but I respectfully disagree. There was nothing they could've added to the main story that would've made it better, so I liked the alternate scenario approach they took post-game. Mixing zombies with cowboys was brilliant, and it was brilliantly executed.

RDR's Undead Nightmare was one of the greatest DLCs I've ever played. I have full confidence in Rockstar to make something like that work in GTAV.

Shipping an unfinished game and patching it later seems to be the trend these days. That being said, a 6/10 seems a bit harsh considering there's a fix in the works already.

Why on earth did they give Advanced Warfare a 8/10 when its multiplayer has been plagued by severe lag issues since launch? While the latest patch seemed to stabilize everyone's connection during a match (based on latency meters), the lag is still very much present.

And did I ment...

@Orbilator

I can vouch for shloobmm3's statement. I've "tried" numerous games (and applications) that I eventually purchased. And in some of those cases, I wouldn't have known about those games otherwise.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: If you make a product worth buying, people are going to buy it. Minecraft is heavily pirated, yet it's the third best-selling video game of all time. Food for thought.
