I used to love prequels. I love to actually see some legendary event that I had only heard about in the previous game or get some new important perspective on a character I hadn't fully understood before. Sadly it's hard to deny most prequels these days are nothing like this and have become more a case of, 'Hey look, it turns out that this character went on another adventure before or between the big meaningful quests you heard about and just never mentioned it in either of those ...

Awesome!!! Who's he?

I consider their Walking dead game one of the best gaming experiences I've had this generation, probably top three. The only thing I hope is that they added more player choice this time. It didnt bother me so much with the first season but now that's over it's easy to see how the choices were handled. For example, any character that could have died without your help will probably be gone by about halfway through the next episode anyway no matter what you choose. It's the littl...

I'm pretty sad about the fact that a team's lives are shared between all team members but to be honest that's just because I suck at all multiplayer games and I have constant anxiety attacks feeling like I'm ruining the game for my team even when playing team capture the flag. I can't even bring myself to join team death matches and playing one where limited lives are shared by a small team is the stuff of nightmares for me.

I'm pretty skeptical of this. A linear game with open world multiplayer?? It sounds great if it's real but I can't say I believe it is.

I have a few people I play with that I've met through playing but as for actual day to day friends the closest I have to a gamer is a guy who only plays sports games and another who only ever bought Call of duty 4 and now claims that he's 'grown out of' videogames.

So is it just clickers in this demo or are there any humans to deal with? From the sounds of it and the length of the demo I'm guessing just clickers but I'm still curious to know if the human enemy Ai is as good as it looked in the first demo we saw.

No I heard. It's a hands-free TV remote and a water cooler. That's not really what I was talking about though.

A PC isn't a single thing, it's not like a gaming console. Telling a console gamer they should be a PC gamer instead is like walking up to a businessman who owns a Mercedes and telling him that he should get into building his own car from custom parts. Sure you can get a smoother, faster, more comfortable ride if you spend time custom building it and constantly improving it but some people just want to buy a Mercedes and be done with it.

I don't want to spend any ...

This is true but only in the same way that hating on that annoying 'Friiiday' song or that crappy Insane clown posse song about how magnets work on miracle power was cool. When something so ridiculous happens it tends to attract the attention of people who want to pass some time and flex their creative muscle by thinking up new funny ways to mock it.

I honestly wanted the Xbox one to be amazing, whether I was gonna buy it or not and I'm pretty devastated by how a...

Damn, I have to say I'm a bit saddened by this. I was hoping Suda's brilliant craziness was finally going to be combined with a well crafted game but it looks like another case of a fantastic art style supporting an average game.

"Strawman argument. She titled the videos "damsels in distress", so she is going to focus on the examples that support her argument. You don't title an article "Why apples are disgusting" then talk about why apples are delicious. Though in your example it would be more like saying "Pears and oranges are excellent." While still factual and a thing that can be talked about...isn't really the point of what you said you were going to talk about." <...

All I saw of this series was her complaint about Double dragon neon and how it's shallow story treated women as mere prizes for men, completely missing the point that the game was a tongue in cheek homage to the macho shallow silliness of 80's videogames and culture that did with humour what she is trying to do with self-righteousness. She also missed or purposefully avoided mentioning the fact that in this version, the woman saves the day by delivering a powerful uppercut to the big ...

The fact that you were able to provide a pic of him playing Kinect Just dance proves what a hypocrite he is.

There are definitely too many games these days that tell you everything you need to do and exactly how to do it. I always feel like something has been taken from me when a puzzle is explained too much before I can put my solution into action. Even when I'm playing alone and even when I've already solved it, having the NPC with me or some hint say something like, 'maybe we can use this rope' always takes away some of the joy of solving the thing.
