Not stealth trolling (check my history) but the lack of any kind of a shadow for Delsin really does bother me. It's not a deal breaker but it is noticeable and is weird looking. Obviously the rest of the game looks graphically mind blowing but the lack of any kind of shadow even on the main character just grates me. I can't imagine it would be that impossible to add even a simple undefined blurry shadow directly under him. Having none at all is almost like they built an incredible loo...
I'm sure it does but I probably should have guessed yet another release by Telltale would be bungled before planning to play it in the UK tonight. Man I wish the artistic talent at Telltale would get headhunter by a good studio.

What they need is some new ideas. Even if they take from Mass effect as Mass Effect took from KOTOR. I want to explore new Universes and experience new and exciting tales, not just sit there with yet another game thinking 'wow the graphics are nicer than they were in the previous three games'.
I don't think it's fair to say the Walking dead name is the only reason people are praising this series. I can't speak for the critics but for myself the Walking dead title only made me more hostile to the game initially. It's so sad. You guys had such a good chance to be the more mature ones, to take the high ground. When comic book guy nerds were obsessing about most XboxOne games running at 720p many XboxOne owners handled it with grace and with the correct response of 'it makes no difference to me. I play games not stats'. Anyone, no matter whether the resolution was important to them personally, could argue with that response.

Do we know yet if there are any other areas in this game besides that desert military base(s?)? I can get past the short campaign if it actually takes us somewhere but if it's two hours of running around rows of tents surrounded by a chain link fence in a desert I don't think I can be bothered.
I know MGS games (besides 4) always tended to be set in one general area but they always squeezed quite a bit of variation out of that area.

I have to admit if given the choice I prefer to play as a white heterosexual male because that's what I am so that's the role I find easiest to inhabit. It's never a deal breaker to play as a character of another race, gender or sexual orientation but if I'm given the choice I always pick white male. Came here to say that. I'm still so pissed off about that I can't even say.
I can't let myself buy this game yet because it just looks like more Dark souls, which is a great thing but not when you're still too chicken to try and finish off the previous game, which I am. Hopefully by the time I work up the courage to beat the original this will have come to ps4.
We'll be very lucky if it's DLC. My guess is it'll be at least one more full retail game. Of course it SHOULD be DLC but I doubt it will be.
Man I hope this thing really hurts them in the end. Ubisoft are probably the most blatantly anti-consumer company out there and it feels good to see people catch on to that.
