Some of the writing in games is on par with the writing in other forms of media. I've said before, as a huge fan of The Walking dead franchise from way before the TV show existed I would say Telltale's Walking dead game is the most well written, artistically valid story ever set in that universe.

What is it about this game that the only people uploading gameplay are either shaking a flip cam at a tube TV or going back to 2006 and streaming it over stickam? Most other games have some sneaky direct feed hd footage out there by this point but this one game, despite retail copies being out there, despite the keen interest in seeing HD gameplay, nothing.

Good to see a decent review of the gameplay. It doesn't surprise me that the story didn't get much praise, it just looks like every generic action movie/game cliché we've seen since the 80's. If the characters didn't look so embarrassingly cheesy and generic there would be no question of me picking this up day one. As it I'm still waiting and seeing if the overall consensus is that it's fun enough to overcome its cheesy generic aspects.

You're embarrassing yourself. It's an impressive visual detail, it has no effect on (nor is it affected by) the type of handling the game creators have decided to build into the game. You can admit that without the world ending. The fact that there are very impressive features in this game does not mean you lose some kind of competition and that everyone is gonna think you're a total loser.
