I'm a big fan of The walking dead since the comics and I had to say I found the story of Telltale's Walking dead game easily the best story I have experienced from that Universe. I have never read the Fables comic book but as far as story goes I'm enjoying The wolf among us even more than The walking dead. It's also one of the most beautiful looking games I have played in a while thanks to the beautiful art style.
Still I can't disagree with this low score be...
C'mon man, loosen your grip on those straws, I'm trying to drink a milkshake here.
Fair point. Silent hill 2 nailed the horror for me by being more about the mood than quick scares but I have to admit the survival aspect was probably done better even by the Resident evil games I did play on the ps1.
I never played the Resident evil remake and always really wanted to but for me I would have to give the top spot to Silent Hill 2. I remember in the first hour or two thinking, 'this is kinda creepy.... I guess' as I wandered around the brightly lit foggy town but then as the game goes on it just becomes more and more like a nightmare at a brilliantly subtle pace. There was a point running through the streets with everything pitch black that wasn't illuminated by my flashlight tha...
There are many different types of experiences provided in gaming, more and more as the technology gets better.
The most popular at the moment are probably the cinematic experiences that any reasonably okay gamer can get through without dying too much except for maybe at certain big set piece moments that give the occasional real challenge. This type of game is based around the idea that an audience gets a rush of adrenaline just sitting and watching Indiana Jones get chased ...
The guy's attitude is impressive but to be fair whenever I play online competitive multiplayer I get teased about being a blind crippled homosexual, I am not any of these things in regular life but apparently I am online. There's a strange kind of equality to the hatred of ignorant spoiled teenage brats.
I might have to give in and buy a decent gaming PC. Just one question, do they only sell them to utter douches or does the smug douche thing just happen as a result of owning one?
I'm trying not to fall out of gaming as a hobby but it's getting tough. Everything's just looking so samey and uninspired.
I immediately regretted posting that comment because now I have to purposefully avoid saying anything snarky or overly cynical here for a while so nobody can point out what a hypocrite I am. Thanks for making it worth it.
I would take these quotes more seriously if most gamers I see on the Internet weren't smug douches that take pride in being hard to please and act pretty much exactly like the Comic book guy from the Simpsons. Even here it's all, 'No 4k? Pfffft, that might be fine for you guys but I prefer quality experiences' or '10 hours? Have fun with your cheap ass lazy DLC game people, I'm gonna be playing ____ with hundreds of hours of gameplay'.
and you deserve it, you pig. Just like you deserve the 'helpful' bubble I'm giving you.
Correct. It WAS a fad.
It really is crazy how Assassin's creed 3 was so horrible yet Assassin's creed 4 is brilliant despite being very similar. Even if I look past the weird Native American Forest Gump story and the terrible mission design, I just always felt like there was something to bum me out in AC3. I mean even if you just wanted to walk from one side of the street to another, there would be something there to make that experience the most frustrating one you've ever had. It actually felt like th...
Yeah I've been reading up on this, it's an odd design choice. Apparently he's no longer interested in jewels and gold, he's now a virginity thief. It's a bold choice but I'm not sure how well it'll work just yet.
The Kenny Powers pic by itself makes this a great article but the suggestions were pretty good too.
You know the saddest thing about your stealth trolling is that you're hurting yourself by allowing dumb loyalty to a corporation that doesn't even know who you are to keep you from important, enjoyable and memorable experiences. Stop being a sheep.
What kind of sick disgusting man would have fantasies of owning his own harem of mid-teen schoolgirls? Oh yeah, a male one. It's a fantasy, not everything has to be created solely to educate the unwashed masses about social injustice. Those of us who can tell the difference between fantasy and reality enjoy relaxing every now and then with some good old pure entertainment.
For the record, I have no personal interest in this game, mostly because 'making star children'...
Given that 'except' is a synonym of 'disregard' I'd be inclined to agree.

The only online competitive FPS I ever really played a lot was the very first Halo. Most of the reason I don't play online much these days is probably honestly because I suck but the one feature I hate in all modern competitive multiplayer is the perks or upgrades. For me the perfect purity of a team of Blue guys facing a team of Red guys in Blood gulch with a jeep or two and a flying vehicle on each team, that's just a perfect set up.
These days even if you have play...
Nope, it's pretty perfect.
