That's how it is on the games cover. I don't "need" to. But, to be more correct I do it anyway.
LittleBIGPlanet is certainly bigger than a Rugby game.
Well, Microsoft has combined products in the past to make Zune look like it's successful because it's together with other entertainment devices. Look how that turned out.
Everyone knows 360 made heavy losses but Microsoft still bundled it together with other products to make it look profitable as a whole.
So, if someone posts about X1 and something else making profit it doesn't matter until we see a single report on the X1's success by itsel...

I'm sorry.. Is this a computer argument? And.. Did I say CPU cores? No. I said GPU cores and I wrote "(in this situation)" because I know CPU cores are not quite the same, especially on computers. If it's the same GPU and it has 50% more cores on it, where all the performance comes from, in a GPU's case this is basically a raw 50% performance gain. Not to mention the importance of optimization.
As for your other comment. C...
Seeing how their CPU's are essentially the same.. I'd rather have the same AI but with better graphics and animations.
@AndrewLB
Cores are EXACTLY where the performance comes from. 50% more cores is exactly 50% more performance(in this situation). Quit making things up. That's like saying 4 people running on treadmills at 10 mph wouldn't be doubled if you added another 4 people running at the same speed.
You clearly don't understand what it means to utilize a number of cores.
Anything to neglect a direct benchmark that proves PS4's CPU perform...
@AndrewLB
Where's your common sense? You're going to sit here and talk to me as if I don't know a graphics card that cost as much as an entire console isn't stronger? I already shut down previous ridiculous statements you've made. Don't try and pretend you have some sort of argument.
Actually, console hardware, due to optimization, is equivalent to a PC equivalent of twice the performance. This is according to John Carmack. I don't...
Underpowered CPU's? They are 8-core CPU's. 1.6GHz outputs to more performance on a console than on a PC. Not to mention.. A few more cores than a standard gaming PC(which typically never take advantage of more than 2 cores, rarely 4). Also, cores properly organized to handle certain information and tasks so it's not shared among ones dedicated for gaming(slowing them down).
Actually.. No. It's not the "same" silicon. It's the same CPU cores and G...
It's 50% more raw graphical performance. Not to mention a lighter weight OS. A 50% difference is big enough for PC video cards. It's going to be a lot different when developers properly take use of it in a gaming machine where they can design for it's specific hardware.
That's not how it works.
Are you not aware that some of the bad news is told by people other than Phil? Because, people are hyping him up to be the new good guy. He's given the good messages so the public likes him and makes XBox look good, he provides ideas but doesn't actually do much of anything; he's basically just a public representative. This is why the negative news isn't being told by Phil.
@starchild
What? The 360 OS used more resources than the PS3, not to mention the weaker processor, that requires more RAM to keep things going. The PS3 processor used XDR RAM which is far faster and more flexible than DDR3, and any left over memory was able to be used on the GPU.
The misconception that shared memory is better for 2005/2006 consoles with only 512 MB's was proven to be stupid after the fact that 1. PS3 has plenty of RAM left over from the C...
The GPU is 50% more raw performance, the most important part of a games console. The processor is a tiny tiny percentage stronger from benchmarks, because the OS is lighterweight and doesn't burden it as much. And, the RAM is an obvious improvement. On a game console with optimization every difference is a big difference. Especially when the GPU is a significant boost. In a regular PC you might have a point because both are going to run games in the same way. But, they are PC's able t...
@demeador
Except.. He is using common sense to bend the truth.
There is an obvious difference in 900p to 1080p if you have a GOOD display and your eyes aren't fried. What kind of bullcrap made up argument is this? 6 feet from a 70 inch TV is really close, but he is claiming you need a 100 inch TV to actually see a difference between 900p and 1080p.
I sit 3 feet away from a 17 inch screen. 900p to 1080p is blatantly obvious. If you can'...

Cloud infrastructures are so expensive and time consuming that they won't be doing PS4 on the cloud for years, not to mention it hasn't been profitable that long, and isn't a huge profit per console either. By the time they ever put PS4 titles on a cloud service, if they do, then it would be years from now, just like their reason for doing it with custom PS3 servers when it became cheaper after many years.
Cloud gaming is for older games. They aren't developing titles for it.
Sony said PS4 is already profitable. Consoles make up most of the profits, but they and competitors have sold at a loss at launch to establish market dominance and recuperated from software and accessories in the mean time. Once the console is profitable it's a ton of profits, though it was a hefty loss last generation because Bluray was so new and expensive for the PS3.
But, once again, the comparison images/gifs are low-res shots that do no justice.
Only thing I don't care for is scaling monsters. If I want to fight stronger monsters I will seek them out and go to higher level areas. I hate when everything scales to the level I work hard for despite how powerful I get.
@equal_youth
If you bought the "crappy ones" then it is hypocrisy to be considered "core". If you're a true fan then don't buy the ones that aren't up to par. Support the "bad" titles and more will follow.
@fr0sty
Who is arguing that bigger drivers aren't better?
I'm not sure how you don't know of any good ear buds. And, what frequencies are you talking about? Any decent ear bud can play all frequencies that a human ear can discern. Most just deliver it with less quality.
The main reason to get headphones for recording is because they broadcast the sound with as much isolation on just about anyones head. Earbuds don't fit every...
@truewittness
Really? Since when? Live has had more reports of hacking than Sony. Sony only had one big mishap that they said encrypted information MIGHT have been compromised and they completely re-coded their online systems. And, as for online gaming itself.. Live was making you pay for you and other players to host your games. They didn't even have servers for your online gaming for just about every game. So, what servers? Sony had several games with dedicated servers ...
