Almost every time that happens is when their spouse has a job to provide and they just do something on the side, or they just don't bother looking for anything new. No one keeps you from leaving Wal-Mart. If you don't pursue anything else it's your own fault.

@Dasteru

It can't emulate a PS3 a couple times over. The fact is that even as weak the hardware of a PS2 is that technically because of how different it is to a PC you need a PC that is well over ten times it's power to play it at the level a PS2 does. The same goes for a PS3, but now the architecture is far far more complex to where getting it to a level to where a PC even twenty times as powerful as a PS3 is will take well over a decade from this point in time to pl...

It's easy to rinse and repeat other peoples statements, without any experience to compare them to other starter jobs. They have better base pay than many other starter jobs. They have better benefits than many other starter jobs, whether you qualify for them or not you will get an in store discount off of many things in the store after your first three months. And, it's not just this but you do get good experience put forth towards other future jobs. You typically get paid more than m...

What about the cloud? The color change from the sun finally setting beyond the horizon? And, I saw no clipping. Not sure what is with your negative comment trying to find things wrong in this video. It looks amazing in graphics and animations. Now we just need to see more gameplay and storyline.

@IrishSt0ner

The scale of the server doesn't make it more advanced. It's a giant cluster of very basic servers.

Resistance and Warhawk for starters had large maps and Warhawk especially had large maps.

Hmm.. So, you agree just the scale? Which doesn't matter because Live has already had connection and lag issues server-side? I don't think you realize how common and simple servers are for game developers nowadays. Nor, how loca...

@k3rn3ll

I'm sorry.. Where does his response say anything about what you're trying to say? If the hardware is more powerful then take advantage. Destiny was clearly parity; so was AC: Unity.

What lesson? Mostly everyone knows resolution and framerate aren't the only factors, but they are the most important. The reason parity has become such a big deal is that despite both consoles being the same resolutions, nothing else was upgraded for the more ...

@DOMination-

No.. EA saw the game as a small title that wouldn't sell much. So, in order to try and make more money off of it because they projected that it wouldn't sell well enough they showed it to Sony and Microsoft to try and cut deals. EA made the deals all on their own. Sony didn't see potential in the series, because it's a cliche CoD shooter with poor mech mechanics.

And, the servers were a bonus simply for Microsoft's own market...

Please, show us why a subscription based service that offers little value in the long run, that gives negative effect to regular retail games(which is all they should be worrying about rather than trying to find new ways to make money), and why it's good to let a huge company justify releasing unfinished products when they're already getting money handed to them at retail for their recent lackluster products, and on top of that they are now receiving consistent payment to further dete...

That's blatant BS. TitanFall uses servers no more advanced than games from over ten years ago. PS3 launched with games that had dedicated servers for more players and the same intensity of combat, and with bigger maps. There is nothing about Microsoft's servers any different from the competition, other than the fact that they are stuck with them because they invested too much into them just to get a mass cluster of average server hardware from years ago. And, the funny thing is that P...

What chizzy201 said.

Apparently, in this day and age, they think people are going to confuse Windows 9 with Windows 95. So, they aren't even naming it Windows 9 or any sort of nickname. They just skipped a number to name it 10. Yes, it makes no sense why they thought this was a good idea or actually going to be a problem.

The issue with me is that my laptop doesn't have drivers for 7. I'm fine with 8 because I know where everything is, but I don't like it.

4237d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

It better not restrict my permission like 7 and 8 do. I've had to set security options for my hard drive and files dozens of times because all of a sudden the administrator, me, can't download a file, install a game, or even move folders around because I have to give myself full control, but even though I do give myself full control it doesn't work, so I have to put "everyone" as the owner over and over. Oh, and now I can't install .NET framework 3.5 on W8 for.. no r...

It's because the point of the gif is the car crash in first person, which is decently realistic and not really done in video games as a common thing. Not the getting up off the ground afterwards. You think you see it for what it is but the truth is you are missing the point.

1. Maxing out games are not a requirement.
2. A PC which can max out almost every game at 1080p costs around $600 and you can "future-proof" it so the only thing you really need to upgrade is the video card for future games, and end up saving money instead of having to buy a new console in the future.
3. You can build a PC for around $400-$500 that lets you do some medium/high gaming on most games, without a dedicated video card, and you can add one later on so you d...

Who's limiting themselves? You think people here only play one console or PC? I play every console I can get my hands on. I primarily game on PC though. I plan on getting a PS4 eventually but I just don't have the money to get a TV along with it right now because I don't have one anymore.

It's not always about not being in a positive position in which people/companies make such statements. It's being in a good position in which they make these statements in an attempt to use confidence to gain more as well as keep reputation.

@Yetter

I mean, that's what dozens of others claim. Yet, I've seen you and others get agrees for anti-Sony comments, such as your comment here. It's not nearly that bad. Stop crying wolf. Both sides have a huge amount of anti-[console] kids. You can blame some of the most predominant and blind XBox fanboys on this site for sullying others opinions and deterring others from the Microsoft camp.

No one cares about your $600 PC. Typically you also spent money on a monitor and a nice headset or speakers, and a KBM. A $400 console comes with the console and the controller you need. TV's are more common in households so most don't worry about spending more money on a monitor, which typically PC users put forth money to get because standard PC tasks aren't very comfortable on a big screen.

And, you're playing games that don't look as good or about the ...
