You can't even count the amount of Bungie devs that went with 343i on one hand. The only important role that stayed behind to work on Halo was not for any game development processes, but for content management.
It's just an exaggerated rumor from word of mouth that 343i has a lot of Bungie devs.
There are actually more prior 343i employees at Bungie than there ever were 343i from Bungie.
The title is misleading though. Clearly, they would know what everyone that sees it would think. That's common sense. The Switch doesn't follow the same generation release concept. They should have added something like "For The 9th Generation Consoles" at the end. I'd rather rename it, "Can Nintendo Hold The 9th Gen Lead?"
I love the Switch. I think that it will have a hefty hardware refresh when the PS5 and next XBox come out, and hopefully ...
What made it "great" was that it was more easily accessible to any gamer and lost the more in depth and creative quests as well as ditching quality dungeons for a streamlined version with less intriguing exploration. It was easier for anyone to get into it. But, it became less of an RPG and more of an action game. It's a good game, sure. But, I don't think it's nostalgia to say that the previous games were better and much more memorable.
I think they will launch a PS5 as soon as AMD produces a new GPU architecture. The current Vega is too RAM hungry to where it not only needs a lot of RAM, but very expensive RAM that would make the console cost a ton. It would be terrible to have the GPU have that big bottleneck and AMD should have something around the end of 2019 in development and testing cycles. We have plenty of time still. Both MS and Sony will continue to focus on AMD to maintain better compatibility, relations, and cos...

PSVR is actually really good. But, the controllers definitely need an upgrade. I think even the Vive controllers need an upgrade. The Oculus controllers are near perfect for the current market. The touch capacitive buttons are fun for social interactions, the analogs make a big difference in control input, and analogs for movement is far better than the annoying aim and teleport method that many games use, or leaning one controller the direction you want to move. ...

As far as I can tell, the 2019 dates are rumors and leaks. We still don't know about their 2019. They did say that 2020 will have their Ampere GPU's with 7nm
It reminds me of when MS paid any Youtuber $3 per thousand video views to upload a video showing the XBox console positively, and had an agreement where this deal was to be private despite Youtube requiring to notify if it is a paid advertisement. So, they tried to do some shady media manipulation here, which was never an unusual tactic for MS anyways.

Desperate damage control 101: - Derail the topic when you have no argument, and try to upset the person in hopes that they will be distracted from the prior conversation in which you lose.
Nvidia won't have 7nm for a long time. AMD is the only ones who've managed to do it at all. It would be interesting to see the mobile AMD apu with Vega since it's around the same power usage for the next Nintendo Switch successor. I doubt the refresh will have a big performance gain, but the next successor will surely be a fantastic improvement with 7nm and hopefully newer GPU architectures. I've been thinking that, if I were Sony I would release essentially a portable with PS...
@Jin_Sakai
So, you want a more expensive base console instead of choosing the memory capacity right for you? You know it's more expensive for Nintendo to manufacture it in rather than leave it open/user friendly for you to use any micro SD?
Well, there are legit speed runs with no glitches or exploits, and then there are speedruns with them. There are also scripted speed runs for both methods where the moves are recorded beforehand to get those flawless completions. It can actually be very fun to watch , but don't think people play these games with intent of speedrunning immediately. They still play the games regularly.
Microsoft always reported sales to retailers. Sony and Nintendo go by sales to consumers. Easy to see who had more.
They will all have ray-tracing support. Nvidia just has their implementation already out, but it's at a time with no titles to use it on so it really doesn't matter. DX12 and Vulkan ray-tracing isn't far off. RTX still has a ton of draw backs at the moment. It's one of those first adopter products that people really shouldn't buy, especially due to the overpricing.

**Chapter 1. The Reach:
-"Not sure where you're getting that false information from?"
You're reaching very hard
* * *
**Chapter 2. Head In The Clouds:
-"MS's cloud infrastructure absolutely dwarfs anything that can be offered by Sony. X Cloud will be using millions of AMDs apu's"
"Millions of AMDs apu's"? Their console is less than half the sales...
HBM2 memory is even more concerning. We won't see any Vega since HBM2 is so expensive and we absolutely need over 12GB's of system/video memory.
It was roughly $80 for 4GB's of HBM2 in May, 2017. Really makes you think of Nvidia's profit margins. Which are actually helping Vega justify the high price that is to include the necessary HBM2 memory. Sony focused on high bandwidth with the PS4 memory. I wonder if they'll find any alternatives to swing that r...
Vega cards use HBM2 to satisfy the high bandwidth demands that the cards need. HBM2 is a VERY good type of memory, but VERY expensive at the moment. AMD and the manufacturer literally have an almost break even price for the memory supply just to keep this memory from driving up their card prices so that the sales are reasonable enough to continue manufacturing in hopes that the prices and processes will become cheaper and better. This means that Vega probably won't be used on the consoles...
@tontontam0
"well that is boring then. "
Okay? So, you want AMD to make a bad business decision to be exclusive with XBox just to "spice" things up? It's business. Not high school drama.
It's simple. Sony brings much more profit to AMD than MS, and Sony is much more involved and experienced with hardware design to correlate ideas together. Keeping AMD's hardware manufacturing rolling is VERY important, becau...
They really should have gave the console extra expansion ports and mounting points. An easy use for this would be for a clip-on battery that mounts to the back, without blocking the exhaust vents, and it could just use the same battery as the Switch itself to provide easy 1:1 power management and system detection. It could be a pretty slim add-on.
You don't want to use 3rd party options that aren't officially licensed by Nintendo. If you recall the update where 3rd...
Imagine having a co-op mode for it, similar to Resistance 2's horde-mode with up to 8 players going through several levels, hordes, and multiple bosses.
I think Metroid would be very deserving of a spin-off where you can create your own space bounty hunter. For some reason, I would imagine it being somewhere in between Halo/Destiny co-op elements but with MGSV's base management system to upgrade your ship, arsenal, and companions.
The opposite actually.
Most Beta's are actually just demo's. Most of the Beta's recently have been so close to launch that they aren't capable of overhaul and big changes before launch. Little fixes and tests are always relevant to modern games before and after launch.
So, don't excuse trying to claim it's Beta just because they are still updating it before launch. Beta just sounds more hype-worthy. I've been weary of Anthem ...
