It's so weird when the saying "It can't get any worse" applies to the same topic several times
Yeah, they're super pricey. Even some skins that can be bought with earned currency are locked behind paid skins prior which is weird when you can't double equip a skin lol. The grind isn't bad so far to get a new character, but once the leveling up slows down we'll see. It's a bit similar to R6 Sieges microtransactions and pay or grind character unlock design, Blops 4 loot and inventory system, with a little Overwatch menu design. The character abilities are both like Ove...
I just don't like the new masteries/runes. I think the layout is bad and overly beautified, but the masteries themselves are bad. I dislike some of the buffs such as the one that slings, if I remember correctly, a rather quick 60 damage area hit after an ability hits every 12 seconds. Either way, there is much less creativity and flexibility for this system.
I actually enjoyed having life steal or crit runes most of the time. Draven I would have a high of damage as I co...
That's just how MS and XBox PR is oriented. It's always broad statements that seemingly means they're covering all bases. They love when fanboyism or sensationalists will make it into a big deal and assume they're changing the ecosystem or industry and make headlines with this misinformation and lack thereof. Actually, many of these articles have "what if" or "could possibly"
But, all it's really going to be is a login built into MS ...
I feel like the PS1/N64 era sparked a huge demographic for gamers of all types and over the next three generations everyone got older and now we really see all these old school gamers with careers and income to get these high attachment rates and sales records. Also, social media for gaming is helping quite a lot lol
Well, that depends on if their new studios actually deliver or not for their next box. If all those games have PC versions than I personally have no reason for their console.
I said this before, but it's clear to see that Microsoft is preparing for their consoles last breath and underwhelming sales just in case and are pushing to gain as many users for their Live/XBox network so that if they don't succeed with a console anymore then they will at least carry over som...
Every article is always about Microsoft having some genius strategy. Literally. It's always about how they somehow know what they're doing, what to do, and how to do it. That's what every one of these overly positive articles are about.
It's about trusting in Microsoft's strategy despite all their downfalls and disappointments. This is literally what PR is. They sound like they got an email with a keynote to detail positivity about any MS strategy based...
I haven't played TF2, but I really didn't like wall running in TF1. It felt too static and paths set up for wall running were very pre-determined feeling and jumping off always chose the same angle. I don't know if TF2 fixed that or not. But, having Mirrors Edge level free running would be amazing on a large scale shooter if they would have done it
@SegaGamer
No.. You have to literally put quotations on the end of each word. How else could I have posted that mere minutes after your original post? Why don't you try going through chat history to specifically find the terms necessary, when the comments on a persons profile are shrunken versions to fit in a list on the profile so it's incomplete information. It would take many many hours to go through that many comments. You're also pathetically trying to tell...
@SegaGamer
" That must have taken you a very long time to find those comments of mine".
Type "SegaGamer" "Star" "citizen" into one search. Only takes seconds.
The point is you're a hypocrite. You made excuses for one thing because as SegaGamer you're defending Shenmue III. A previous Sega exclusive franchise. But, your only intent to click an article about Star Citizen is not to read or le...
- "If you are going to call something a scam, at least research the meaning of the word and get your facts right about the games you are talking about."
- "..there is plenty of information, if you paid attention and did some research, you would find it"
You should look into why Star Citizen is taking so long and how it has an immense amount of features that no other games have and how it cuts no corners while making everything take place i...
I was saying the same thing about the destruction ever since the reveal. It may be a large scale of destruction that can happen, but the physics of every object was so poor and basically falling straight down without seemingly any instruction except to ride along the Y axis till it hits the floor.
Nothing here is only possible on the cloud. It's just PR. Servers have hosted physics calculations for decades now. We have already had games with more advanced physics and d...
MAG was very underrated. Very accurate weapon fire unlike many shooters at the time(and even now) that have peer to peer host advantage. Also gave a lot of freedom of how to approach your goal and the skill tree was really nice to have and gave a nice sense of progression rather than simply unlocking weapons as you go like everything else. I'm surprised these shooters with RPG elements these days don't have a skill tree like this.
That would be fantastic. I'm sure we'll have Demons Souls 2 eventually. I have been hoping for a Demons Souls 1 remaster/remake with extra content(the broken stone in the Nexus could be fixed and be a new area for instance).
That isnt the point. It was selling preorders and getting advertising on Steams storefront several times. Then, last minute being pulled from the store that gave it more publicity; only honoring existing preorders because of potential legal suits. Steam is what people want to use.
They're trying to shoehorn customers to go to another featureless store missing even basic features, with poor security, and after taking advantage of the biggest competitors advertisement by...
@OmnislashVer36
You just said "$20K computers that look like Mario 64".
At no point in time was this true or would have been true for a vide game if consoles didn't exist. This is an extreme exaggeration and is untrue.
I spoke of console optimization only having slight effects for PC THIS generation and no other, which is true because of x86. It never mattered before. You spoke of games that look like Mario 64. That was a ...
AMD gets held back the most. Look at the raw compute power of their cards vs NVidia. They're ahead even with much cheaper solutions. But, the architecture is bad for graphics calculations without optimizing. NVidia has more efficient calculations and drivers to get the most of their cards atm.
PC devs that push graphics don't care to force cap games. In fact, being demanding is a selling point if it looks good enough. But, the game has to be good on top of that whi...
That's very wrong..
Optimizing for a consoles specific hardware per generation has zero to do with optimizing for PC, aside from minor cases this generation due to the x86 architecture.
Consoles drive the gaming industry forward. They pull in the most money and are far more affordable, easy, and marketable. I'm sure there would be more fierce PC competition if there were no consoles, but it certainly wouldn't be major, and would be far less co...
I also think that doing these remakes will absolutely reveal what made all these classic franchises so good in the first place to carry on their genre-defining franchise names. The pacing and development in older titles is so much better imo. They don't follow the same formula as all the games these days. I also think this is part of what made God of War 4 so good. Games these days try to be the next big blockbuster, but few try to be critically acclaimed and memorable passion projects.
I feel like the Switch should get this as well. It would be nice if some of these great 4 player co-op games would debut when they fix their online. I play local wireless Smash Bros all the time. Haven't even tried the online on this island lol
