"never read such drivel in all my life." Ditto, bud. While the whining and moaning by a bunch of Pick-Me is delicious, do take your own advice and "chill out."
"that team been through a lot," Yeah, bot. It's called Life. Get one and maybe you'll understand.
"let's see what they give us and don't pre judge." Nobody is pre-judging the actual game, just this video and what it might mean for it.

Yes, of course. And it's not on cutscenes. Wasting resources on Cutscenes in a series like S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is just as bad as wasting it on a series like Bloodborne or The Elder Scroll. Sure you have the intro, and some small stuff here and there, but that would never be or should be the priority. If you want Cutscenes then you might want to try Metro or something else.
"It's their baby." And? It's a commercial product after all. And while I would never...
Don't do that, bud. Don't be the Pick-me gamer on the comment section. It's not a good look. Either engage with me in good faith or go whine somewhere else.
STALKER is one of my favorite game series of all time and as someone that plays 1 and 3 constantly, especially with mods, seeing them put a video about Cutscenes is extremely worrisome. Again, this is not Metro, and this is not what the series is about. Hope this video is just to fill out time and these are ...
Uh, oh... This no bueno. The original 3 S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games didn't used many nor they really needed Cutscenes, other than to setup some stuff. They were the type of games that were almost and completely driven by Environmental Storytelling, with just normal interactions and dialogue with other NPCs or items. While the few Cutscnenes it did have where left for the beginning, the end, and when you went to sleep, or for very small sections of the game, like when finding Streloks' Hideou...
Yeah, those 'Mission Fails' because you take a different route or move a bit that way or try to move that other way were absolutely ridiculous. And the Police system? Especially in RDR2, where you cross a river and they just Spawn right behind you was just another example of how little care they put into it.
Again, their worlds are amazingly well crafted and all, but their Mission Design need to actually accommodate all the possibilities of an Open World game by act...
What GTA needs is an entire overhaul of their Mission System. It's archaic, simplistic, bad, and just plain boring. GTA V's campaign was the biggest let down of them all. They set up this entire "Heist System" only to end up being just a shallow gameplay side quest that you do a few times and that's it. Then they brought it back to Red Dead Redemption 2 and somehow made it even worst. Obviously, we know now that that system was just a Tutorial and a Teaser/Taste for thei...
There is no modern Remedy. There's just Remedy. And it has always been like this. Their games have ALWAYS been shallow and unsophisticated. Fun to pick up and play for a bit but the shallowness rear its ugly head right away. And it has been like this since Max Payne. Don't mean their games aren't fun, because they are, but in moderation.
I think the most complex game Remedy ever put out might have been Control, or maybe Quantum Break...but probably Control. Whic...
Ahead of its time? LOL No. An amazing game? Hell yeah!
By the way, the Real Time blend with Turn based was old by that point. With the Secret of Mana and Star Ocean series coming to mind. And I'm sure there might have been others.
And nothing of value was lost. Marathon was an excellent Single Player game, so this abomination getting stuck in Dev Hell is a win in my books.
THIS could've been the "HALO Killer" Sony was always looking for, albeit a decade too late, but still. Sony does need a good Single Player Adventure FPS at some point since Microsoft gobbled them all up it seem.
I feel for the workers though. Hopefully they can get Unionized and get a good deal goin...
Another OK list from this site with MASSIVE omissions as usual. Like, where the fudge is Nioh? Any of the Shadow Warrior games? How about Wo Long? The Ninja Saviors Return? Any of the Batman games? American Ninja Warrior? C'mon!!!
Regardless, at least Sekiro is here - THE Ninja game, not just of that gen, but of all times. Hoping for a sequel at some point. Probably right after Bloodborne 2... So never. Awesome.
While I preferred the Original XBOX generation myself, for having such a unique identity and being superior to the PS2, the 360, at that time, was fine. Sadly, with the 3 Red Ring, having to pay to play Online and the normalization of Microtransactions, the 360 was more of a harbinger of all bad things to come to the console landscape.
Hopefully you and two others are the only ones looking forward to this travesty. That way we can call it a day and move on. Not just from the Hero/Looter/Skittles Shooters, but from IPs getting destroyed in peruse of all the money.
Marathon deserves so much better than what it's getting, and it deserve fans with better expectations. Don't take it personally, but you're just part of the problem. So here's hoping you get a dud and maybe, in about 20 years, we...
What an absurd question. Gameplay is king. It's the reason we PLAY Videogames. The fact that you have to ask this question is already problematic.
Also, the Gameplay IS the story. YOUR story.
A great narrative with bad gamplay will always be a bad game, but a bad narrative with amazing gameplay will always be a classic. And if both are amazing, then good for you, but we know which one is expendable.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Metro and Chernobylite. Ukrainian lore is something else.
Love it.

The Playstation Store Website is an absolute dumpster fire. That thing needs to be taken out back and sent to a farm upstate.
Sony clearly is in no hurry to fix it either since they seem to have no competition.
Pity.

You're getting that feeling because you are Projecting. Which does make you an unreliable observer with no credibility indeed.

Can't wait for Marathon...oh, wait...
This just an update about a Roadmap Update that's not ready yet, but soon.
Classic Star Citizen!
Not just for you. It WAS the game of that Generation and one of the greatest game ever made.
