Because we TOTALLY need to discuss GTA4 sales on the PS3 vs. the 360 AGAIN. The two dozen articles before this weren't enough.
Is it really so hard to talk about gaming and games with getting into fanboy arguments?
I wonder if it's just a certain piece of hardware in certain 60 GB PS3's - sort of how the 360 has gone through 3 different DVD drives. That would explain how it could've slipped through Rockstar's testing, too. I highly doubt they released the game with a known issue this bad.
It sucks that the people who paid the most for the PS3 - and thus are the most dedicated fans - are apparently the ones getting screwed.

All companies should follow Stardock's example, and remove copy protection entirely. ALL games will get pirated - don't punish your legitimate customers for it.

You know the DLC doesn't just appear out of thin air, right? They're STILL MAKING IT. Unless the game was going to be delayed another 4-6 months, it wasn't going to be part of the original disc - DVD space limitations aside.
Speaking of space limitations, DVD's hold 9 gigs, not 7.

You know what? Get over yourself. Your opinion isn't the only one. Sorry if I don't think a few melee weapons were the "best parts" of previous GTA4s, or if I think comparing the driving or combat in GTA4 to Crackdown's is laughable.
Crackdown was, for me, an average game, at best.

No new games require Vista. DirectX 10 requires Vista, but so far DX10 has proven to drastically reduce performance for very little visual gain.
It's amazing how fast you claim to "sell" software that PC hardware makers have no choice but to include on a system.
Vista sucks for businesses, because:
1) There's no big reason to upgrade.
2) It has higher system requirements than many business PC has. Especially if you want any of the shiny GUI features. How many business PCs have dedicated video cards?

I always thought San Andreas was the step right before a GTA: Online - huge world, character development mechanics, etc. In fact, many PC gamers HAVE basically made it GTA: Online.
I wonder why Rockstar hasn't opened up THAT gold mine yet. I've learned to hate MMOs, but even I might be down for a GTA: Online.
Why does everyone hate the cover system so much?
For me, GTA4 is somewhere between Gears of War's cover's system (nearly perfect) and Rainbow 6: Vegas's (meh).

The car driving mechanics are a matter of personal taste. They don't "suck".
What's wrong with the lock-on system? Yeah, I still occasionally target the wrong person, but I also have FREE AIM, which is a huge step over other GTA's. This GTA made combat FUN - and that alone is a big deal. I rarely have fun with a sandbox game's combat system. It always feels watered down compared to a full-fledged action game. Humor is largely about over-exaggerations and generalization. Yahtzee does this all the time. If anything, he was making fun of himself.
