Final Fantasy was a "Nintendo game". It certainly isn't now.
EDIT: Whoops, changed because I was wrong. I forgot this PS3 theme supports custom icons, which is something the 360 actually CAN'T do without an "official" theme. So the story description, while still an unnecessary editorial, is not incorrect.
It does not keep this article from being any more than flamebait, however.
"The PS3 has a new, free Gears of War 2 theme" MIGHT be vaguely news-ish. "The PS3 gets a free Gears of War 2 theme a...
This has about as much point as a MGS4 theme on the 360.
Why would anyone want a theme for an exclusive game on a system that won't play it?
The people who were disappointed are the ones who were looking to be disappointed.
I have given up entirely on MMOs.
I know video games in general are inherently pointless timesinks, but MMOs take that to a whole new level I'm not comfortable with. At least single player games have a story that's often times worth sitting through and even, on rare occasions, is arguably a form of art (Bioshock, etc.)
I'm tired of paying companies $15 a month to play a game that, by definition, never ends and seems to be scientifically designed to be both as ad...
There hasn't been a real Republican - as in, fiscally conservative rather than socially conservative - for years.
Both parties want to spend a crazy amount of money that our country doesn't actually *have*.

Read my post above - 4.2, that is.
The Wii's primary influence will be seen when Sony and Microsoft try to win over the new breed of casual gamer that Nintendo introduced to gaming with the Wii. Because, casual or hardcore, all gamers have wallets.
Sony and Microsoft can't really afford to ignore that sort of success. How they respond to it, however, is what will be interesting to see.
So Killzone 2 is the first FPS to have a cover system?
Not trying to hate on KZ2. I'm just curious what gameplay innovations it REALLY brings to the FPS genre.
I'll wait and see how multiplayer (including co-op) changes before I decide whether or not GeoW2 is innovative enough.
But honestly, it's a sequel. A same-gen sequel, no less. What sort of features did, say, KotoR2 have over KotoR1? Or Halo 2 have over Halo 1? EDIT after below gave me the idea: Or GoW2 have over GoW1? Sequels take the original gameplay and graphics and enhance/tinker it. They aren't supposed to be revoluntionary, unless it's also a jump in console generati...
You may not, and other games may not, but like it or not, Sony and Microsoft can't afford to ignore that sort of runaway success.
While the Wii may or may not be DIRECT competition for either the 360 or the PS3, its success have ramifications this generation and likely even beyond.
The Wii has brought many new gamers into the fold. Casual gamers, sure, but casual gamers still have wallets. Wallets that Sony and Microsoft would love to get their hands on. It WI...
I don't care who comes in first, second, or third, as long as there always IS at least a first place and a second place.
The day a single console maker runs the others out of business will be a sad day for gamers everywhere.
Competition breeds innovation. And in that regard, Viva Sony, Viva Nintendo, and yes, even Viva Microsoft.
Could this possibly be more off-topic?
Don't get me wrong, I'd love to discuss Saint's Row 2's virtues. Far more than I want to discuss GTA4 sales results in Australia. But this still isn't the right place.
Yeah, a community-run game website is totally just like the Nazi regime.
This thread has been GODWIN'D.
I really thought it was incredibly obvious I was being sarcastic - even considering the fact that sarcasm doesn't translate terribly well over the internet.
I guess it says a lot about N4G that a comment so ridiculously absurd could actually be taken seriously.
No offense.
I had no intention of starting a flame war, just poking fun at how incredibly absurd some of these comparisons have become. Does it matter if a game runs at 480p or 580p or 640p...
The 360 version clearly had 6.2 more pixels than the PS3 version - I counted and the PS3 actually runs at a native resolution of 713.8p (not TRUE HD). And, if you look really close at the very end, there's at least a WHOLE TIRE more knocked into the air on the 360 during the final crash montage. So, it's obvious everyone should sell their PS3's and get 360's so they can enjoy the superior version of this superior game on the superior platform.
Superior, superior, superior.
Every news source is reliable when it serves a fanboy's purpose, and unreliable when it doesn't.
Here's what we're going to do.
We're going to stop taking Every Random Store's Stats, and just wait until April's NPD comes out later this month. Then we're going to wait for May's NPD to come out in June.
Then we're going to figure out who sold more, what the attach rate was, and what, if anything, that means for the console war.
Yes, this only applies to North America, because the PS3 version almost certainly outsold the 360 version everywhere e...
It proves that, apparently, the Open Zone isn't doing it's job.
Oh, I'm sorry, I thought you asked what your sorry excuse for a post proved.
Please stop spamming your Saint's Row 2 crap in every GTA 4 thread.
It's off topic, and it's annoying. And this is coming from someone who LIKES Saint's Row (despite it being an obvious, blatant rip-off).
