Yeah, I've said the same thing myself before.
I remember when multi-console game debates were about big things like "The SNES version of Mortal Kombat has better graphics than the Genesis version but it's censored! What do I do?!"
Now we have people counting every stupid pixel in every screenshot to see if the way the light hits the texture is slightly different on Awesome System A or Awesome System B. As if our enjoyment of the game would somehow be st...
Let me just preface this statement with the fact that I'm sick and tired of all these comparison articles and I think it's silly that people care about such miniscule, trivial differences.
That being said - at least this article uses technical observations for their results, instead of just "eyeballing it" like IGN and 1UP did.
But in the end, the real answer is, why do people actually CARE about these small differences? Just use this:
Yup, it's awesome on both systems, and the last thing we need is YET ANOTHER stupid comparison article.
So many different results from different people! It's almost as if...the versions were incredibly close and the differences are not worth worrying about!
The release of the awesome "Boom Blox" only serves to make your "idiots" comment even stupider than it would usually be.
Yeah, the presentation is kiddy, but the idea and implementation of the physics-based puzzles are awesome.
Please keep terms like "XBot" out of the Gamer Zone. Thanks.
I was just kidding, guys. Calm down. It's called sarcasm.
Yeesh.
Here's an idea...why not stop being a fanboy for either side, and just be a GAMER?
And, I don't know - play the games you like?
Just throwing that out there, I guess.
Once again, the very first comment on an article about a 360 game:
1. Criticizes it.
2. Compares it negatively to a PS3 game.
Do you even own a 360? Do you have any reason to care about this game? Or are you just trolling?
Assuming they use it all.
Remember, just because they HAVE the space on the disc, doesn't mean time/money will last long enough to finish it.
It would be awesome if they broke from the curse of this generation and release a game that's longer than 10 hours, though.
There were people who played the first Killzone?
Kidding. Mostly.
I do more than complain about this site. Anyone taking an even-cursory look at my comment history will show that. You're just over-generalizing my tendancy to occasionally do so.
I like N4G as a concept, but it's hard to have a community-run site when it's clear that a good 80-90% of that community is bias towards a single console, and at least 50% of those people are HEAVILY biased towards that console and gang up on anyone or anything that doesn't support that bias.
...
You know what's depressing about N4G now?
I don't click on 360-game comment threads and think "I wonder what 360 fans think of this game?" anymore.
I now click and think "I wonder how PS3 fanboys are going to insult this game and/or what PS3 games they'll bring up as being better?"
Because apparently there's about 5 or 6 actual 360 owners left on this site, and the rest of the people are all PS3 owners just waiting around to tak...
Yeah, any racing game without local multiplayer automatically fails.
That, and the lack of a true crash mode, is why I ignored Burnout: Paradise and stuck with Revenge.
She is looking more forward to Motorstorm 2 than MGS4? Uh...okey dokey then.
We could, I dunno, enjoy both? Maybe? Anyone with me here? Both games have a place in this world?
Or must one DESTROY the other in MORTAL KOMBAT?
Here's an idea.
How about we play and enjoy both games?
...no?
Okay, sorry for asking...
One big reason it won't:
Cheating in multiplayer.
Still, it would be nice to get that much closer to the Rockstar's true vision for GTA4 with the PC hardware to back it up. I might even consider buying it again, if it does ever come out.
I love GTA4, but it's clear how much more graphical potential it would have on the PC.
Sorry man, I gotta join the chorus of disagrees here, but then, that's also just my opinion.
What I don't buy is putting FF6 before Castlevania and Metroid.
@Below:
And I still don't think Castlevania or Metroid as a series are better than Final Fantasy as a series.
Actually, I preferred Link to the Past to Ocarina, too.
But then I'm a hardcore SNES fanboy.
Wow, delayed reaction there. Did they like, forget this game came out or something?
Maybe this will help the 7 people left who haven't bought the game decide whether or not it's worth the money!
