It seems logical that if Bioshock 2 is coming to the PS3, then Bioshock 1 should also come out for it, if only to introduce PS3 owners to the series.

The numbers imply the PS3 will overcome the 360 in worldwide sales. This is virtually guaranteed, as markets outside of NA and the UK simply don't seem to care much for the 360.

Why will Home bring 360 owners to the PS3?
There are plenty of reasons to own both a 360 and a PS3, but honestly, I don't consider Home among them. Home is a nice touch, sure, but I don't see it as a must-have killer feature.
What, exactly, do you want them to change about the formula?
I mean, in the most basic sense, entire idea of a sequel is "more of the same", really. Not to say, EXACTLY the same, but you take the formula people have already grown to love and tinker with it so it's even better. But you certainly don't change it entirely. That's what new IPs or spin-offs are for.
