That's pretty cool. I've been hoping since launch that there'd be some form of Machinima community created around the game, what with the building your own sets, lip synching, etc. Haven't come across anything yet, but maybe this will inspire some people.
It may not have been a movie, perhaps just extended tv shows or something - I just recall there being more video you could watch from your apt. Maybe making the disc containing both a few bucks more would be enough to compensate the studio execs.?
As I stated earlier, Strangehold came with the movie Hard Boiled, and if I'm not mistaken, the PS3 version of The Darkness had all kinds of extra video and a movie you could watch, didn't it? Both 3rd-party too.
Didn't that one John Woo game, Stranglehold I think it was, have this feature, coming with Hard Boiled on the disc?

I actually just put in my reservation there yesterday, as going into Gamestop always devolves into a defensive "why do I own a ps3" argument. They've upgraded the class-selection screen since the beta. Didn't used to have an animated character model.
There are programs out there that will do this automatically from a collection of images. I have Arcsoft Photo Montage - you basically throw all the images in a folder, pick a photo to have "mosaic"ed, and determine how much repetition and color adjustment you'll allow for the final image to look as close as possible.
Don't intend for this to sound negative, I just have a bad habit of pointing out opposite sides to issues, even those I agree with.

I definitely see your point there, and to be honest, most of the users on this site would whole-heartedly agree with you - a score and review are just one person's opinion out of many. I pretty much base my game buying decisions off of previews, video, and any major flaws pointed on in reviews - if I hadn't bought all of the 6 and 7 out of 10 games that I thought looked intriguing to me, my library would be much smaller and less enjoyable.
