Yeah, you definitely have to have a good grasp on what titles are in your library - I can usually pick out a game fairly quick. Everything's alphabetized, and it's pretty easy from there.
All of my first party games have their covers turned inside out with the secondary art - no logos there. I think Civ Revolution is the only 3rd party title I have that has one - not sure if many even notice that there's alt art inside.
It does make everything darker - I'll grant you that, and changes the color palette a bit. But so far I've found them a worthwhile pay-off. Maybe it's just the novelty of it, but it's so engrossing. It doesn't change the gameplay one bit, but it changes how it feels to watch it all.

Just bought and started playing the GOTY version on PS3 - it has the passive 3D with the red/blue glasses, and even THAT blew me away. It was my first time experiencing any kind of 3D in a game, and I was like "Ohhhh, now I get it!" I can only imagine how much it adds to other games when using "real 3D" in other games like KZ3 and Uncharted 3 - and will have to wait until I can afford a 3dtv to know for sure.

But still, the end result was doing the same routine every day to get marks to get armor to get stronger to get more marks - very little incentive outside of getting bigger. No story, no real reason to hang around. And PVP often took forever to fill up, so I had many an evening just sitting around in the park talking to people.

not the same thing. 1:1 has nothing to do with lag. You move your hand and there's a quarter second delay - that's lag. you twist your hand in every direction and angle and it is equally represented on screen - that's 1:1 controls.

I think few announcements had as much of an impact as "$599." Partly because of how much it affected Sony's sales/brand dominance, and partly because it revealed to us just how much we'd be willing to shell out for a new piece of tech (no 3DO fiasco here).

Wish I'd seen this earlier. Still may be helpful, but there's a point in the game where it becomes very important to have unlocked as many landmarks as possible - I'd only revealed just over half by then, and it made progress more time consuming >_<
