Killzone 2 level graphics are achievable on the 360. The Halo 3 engine is one of the better-looking and performing HDR engines out there right now.

The problem really lies with Bungie. Their idea of what looks good artistically has always been terrible. I mean come on, who the heck signed off on those character models in Halo 3? Still there were moments in Halo 3 that the lighting and atmospheric quality simply blew me away. It can render some stunnig GI effects and still keep a ...

No VoIP on PSN, that's why. Makes the sound lower quality as well

Ouch my brain hurts from reading that.

And where do you guys come up with these "articles"? This isn't news

@SasanovaS777

the third option is that like all multiplatform games, FF13 might turn out better on the 360 because no one has yet pushed the 360 to its limits

The PS3's main memory doesn't allocate as much memory to textures as the 360's does. That's why in every comparison the PS3 has blurrier textures.

The PS3 will probably manage the physics portion better because of the Cell, and the 360 will probably look better because it has a better graphics board.

You guys may want to read a little harder next time.

Home has been hacked numerous times, as well as the Playstation store itself. Dozens of PSN accounts were compromised last year which led to Sony revising their security precautions (check the PS forums if you don't believe me) The folks over at DemonHades have already cracked the PS3 HDD encryption which is why my first statement is in fact, true. It's easier to hack into the Playstation Network. You can put a modded Xbox onli...

There's nothing fundamentally wrong with the last two entries in the series, but I've found myself wanting a little more after these last two.

Part of me misses the claustrophobic hallways, dark passages, "real" zombies and hell, even fighting with the controls.

@Microsoft Xbox 360

Maybe you should get an idea of what you're talking about instead of running your mouth. PSN accounts are easy to hijack and a big problem for Sony right now.

First off, modding an Xbox is not the same as hacking, plus modding an Xbox gets you immediately banned from Live as their security doesn't allow a modded box to connect. But you can run load and run modified code on the PSN easily. Go download some cheats off the internet, it's exceedingly ...

@zlatko

Dedicated servers don't work for console games like COD4. Too many people connecting = too much revenue spent on server maintenance.

@boodybandit

Since the new Xbox OS came out its been noticeably quieter in games. That's because most people are in a party and using party chat to communicate. It's one huge advantage Live has over the PSN network (that and the horrendous sound quality that PSN has)

Personally since Killzone 2 came out I can't use a headset on PSN anymore, the screaming kids are obnoxious.

Easier to hack a PS3 any day of the week. You can't install a third party drive and software on a 360.

Account theft and cheating are rampant on PSN. All the script kiddies are running Linux on their PS3s.

It says a lot about this site when a legit article gets posted and the PS3 fanboys jump on it just because Valve doesn't develop games on their system.

It's no wonder you PS3 guys have to write all your own "articles" on this site.

EA ported Source and the Orange Box. Valve doesn't develop on the PS3

This series needs a "reboot." I have high expectations for Halo 4 and I hope Microsoft has the sense to give it to a new developer.

SOCOM isn't fixed, and LBP is almost unplayable online. I think Sony needs to up their game with their online network.

There's a reason it's free: Sony is still trying to get all the kinks worked out.

@ GWAVE

So what do you call what Sony is doing?

"As reported by GamesIndustry.biz, Sony will match the development budget of a self-published video game if that title remains exclusive to the PlayStation Network."

Sounds like they are buying their own exclusives now.
