I don't think PGR was under rated, got some fantastic reviews from the press and sold loads until no. 4. Hopefully they ditch the bikes and make a game like PGR2, I played the he'll out of that one!

The kind of people that download a leaked "bug ridden" copy are also likely to illegally download the retail version I'm afraid.

@TABSF ... Did I ever say Crytek would go console only? No. The point I was making is that it's far easier for them to stay in business by releasing console versions of their flagship PC titles.

I don't understand why people who only own a PC are getting their knickers in a twist over Crytek developing for consoles? If you want to carry on playing their games I think you'll have to accept that they need money to do that, PC piracy is still rife.

Lol at people saying they've downloaded the leak but will still pay for the game when it comes out, yeah right, course you will.

...and people wonder why Crytek are developing for consoles now, go figure.

Yup, but more important to Crytek right now is trying to make some money and they need consoles sales for that.

Great argument until you compare the price, iPhone streetfighter 59p ... 3DS approx £40. Who the he'll wants to spend £40 on a portable game?!

@Masterchef : my gaming needs are far beyond basic, I've just bought a Gamepod and Fanatec GT2 to play Forza and GT5, a handheld just doesn't compare to a proper console. And when you're talking about portable gaming, until they make a PSP or DS that actually fits in my pocket then they're not portable enough to replace my iPhone.

I believe PSPs and DS's are a great present for parents to give young kids to keep them quiet without having to share televisi...

You have a picture of Haze next to your name, kind of brings into question what you'd know about hardcore gaming lol!

On a 12 hour flight to our holiday destination last year I flicked between watching films, writing tunes on ielectribe, reading Stephen Frys new book and playing games ... all on an iPad, there's no better companion for that kind of journey.

If I'm playing serious games I'm at home in front of a large tv screen not a portable ...

Exactly, I can buy 15 games for my iPhone/iPad that will entertain me more than one DS or PSP game. And I only have to carry one device around with me.

Do you actually know anything about the game? Love to know which Aston does 235mph?! And i think Epic have been too busy with GOW3 to design a racing game lol. Muppet.

Lol, love the sarcasm mate.

Fanboy response. You can't tell me you buy every game that scores as low as that? You'd end up with a distinctly average game collection ....

Isn't the move integration mainly to attract the casual gamer Market? Haven't tried it but can't imagine it being better than using a DS3...

What a load of bollocks! I've owned 4 porsches, a TVR, lotus, Clio V6 and driven many faster cars than those on track days ... has that quashed my lust for videogames? ... NO! I still get excited about racing games, obviously it's a different experience to driving a real car but I get similar amounts of joy from both.

Forza? Dirt 3? Grid 2? F1 2011? NASCAR 2011?

5470d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

Mate, the grind hasn't even started yet, wait until you reach level 28...

At last somebody who isn't a blinded by fanboyism! GT5 is a "good" game but the career and tuning/customization is sooo dated.

Problem is that most PS3 owners are too busy defending the game rather than admitting that there's issues that need to be addressed in GT6. Car handling has always been brilliant but the rest of the game needs a major overhaul...

Bring on the fanboy disagrees ...

Don't think they're talking about the grind as in trophies but the levelling up.

Anyway, if you thought the trophies were a grind in Dirt have fun racing over and over and over to get the level 40 trophy I'm GT5!!

5470d ago 1 agree1 disagreeView comment

The car handling and graphics may be top notch in GT5 but I can't be the only person that has got fed up with the single player grind once you reach the late 20's, extremely tedious.

5470d ago 2 agree5 disagreeView comment

I agree with the Devs. If you could combine the career paths of games such as Dirt and Shift with the handling model of GT5 you'd have the perfect racer in my opinion.
