Hot pursuit got patched to add wheel support actually, and even then it has the worst dead zone I've ever experienced in a game.
The first shift supported wheels and clutch so this will too.
Where's the motorstorm demo, I need to try that game!
Over the top arcade racing, insane nitrous action and an emphasis on brutal crashes .... yeah, you're right they're nothing like each other.
Why? When you follow F1, Moto GP or NASCAR in real life it's the drivers that provide the interest, I think it's nice to see a bit of personality injected into the racing genre, it's so dull sometimes and that comes from somebody who spends 90% of his gaming time racing.
What game does simulate accurate damage when landing? Not GT5, Not Forza.
The guy has every assist in so it wouldn't look very challenging would it? Muppet.
@r2kcipher : fine you don't believe me, I've also driven round Silverstone, Donington, Mallory Park, Castle Coombe and Bedford autodrome ... yeah, I like track days. I also love driving games and have been playing GT since PS1. I'm not attacking that game because of the trees but even the biggest Sony fanboy must have got a shock when they realised that 5 years in development didn't produce the polish GT fans deserved.
Do you get reflections of the dashboard on your windscreen in GT5? No, so I'm not sure how you disagree.
And arguing that a 2D tree is preferable to a 3D one is pretty laughable tbh. This guys videos are uploaded in 480p so I doubt you can make an accurate judgement of texture quality.
A : Ive driven round Nurburgring and it's that wide.
B : The car cockpits in GT5 are no better than this, at least they put glass in the windows and windscreen in shift.
C: Just like in real life the Trees are 3D and not paper cut outs.
D: Watch all of this guys videos and you'll see he's shockingly bad at racing games so impossible to judge the physics from these videos.
... and lastly I have a signature edition ...
This guy drives slower than my gran, 9 minute lap?!!! Should be a couple of minutes faster than that, why is it journalists are so shit at games?
I'd say 3.7 is more like it, traded it in yesterday. Kept TDU1 for it's superior handling.
... I seem to remember having fun on one of them lol, just too much of a snob to admit it !
Games that catered for Chavs rather than Car enthusiasts, thank god NFS ditched that series.
So you havent played PGR2 and 3? They were both much better than 4. I even preferred Metropolis Street Racer on the dreamcast to PGR4.
Only thing that's disappointed me so far is the graphic style, I was hoping for something closer to Windwaker.
Your argument about gameplay over graphics is valid, problem for the 3DS is good games are a little thin on the ground at the moment, not that excited about playing games I had on my N64 15 years ago...
That's N4G for you!
Because, let's face it, there's not a lot in that launch line up to justify buying one. Zelda rehash that any true Nintendo fan has probably completed more than once already, pilot wings lite and streetfighter lite.
Right now the 3D is the system seller not the games, hopefully that'll change when we get a proper Zelda, Mario etc.
Staplehold ? WTF?! In an effort to use a big word you've invented one lol.
