Personal preference isnt it? I used to use a DFGT but have just spent £1000 on a Fanatec GT2 with clubsports and a Gamepod but then I really enjoy racing games. The T500 looks great, if they ever do a 360 compatible version id definitely consider one.
@dredge : good point but why eat in a nice pizza chain (NGP/3DS) when you can have a Michelin star meal (360/PS3) ? For casual gaming whether that's on public transport, a break at work etc I want a bite sized snack that the iPhone and ipad satisfy.
Totally agree, would rather spend £10 and get 5-10 apps for my apple devices than spend £35 on one game for a PSP or 3DS because when I'm at home I'm playing a 360/ps3 not a handheld.
No, sold 100 million which considering there are over 100 million iPhones, 15 million iPads and a whole load of android devices isn't that hard to believe.
I personally spend enough on games for my PS3/360 so I don't mind a few quid on games for my iPhone/ipad, can't justify £35 for handheld games for a 3ds or PSP nowadays.
@Otheros00 : actually buddy, since I've had my ipad I can hardly ever be bothered to fire up my laptop any more, it's so much easier and convenient to surf the web or do emails on the ipad whether I'm at work or home. And it's the perfect companion for flights.
Games, books, videos and music applications are simply more fun on an ipad from my point of view, it'll never replace my consoles or desktops but then it was never meant to.
Yeah that's the theory but in 2006 Nintendo released a console that was inferior to Microsofts original Xbox.
I think that considering how different the target audience is for their current console line up to that of Sonys or Microsofts the best thing they could do would be to release Zelda and Mario etc on PS3 and 360.
I know that sounds crazy but after the Wii I doubt I'll buy another Nintendo console, but I'd sure as hell buy a Mario for my PS3. As a company they seem set on appealing to the casual gamers and by setting themselves so far apart from Sony and Microsoft would...
Me too mate, would love a first glimpse at consoles from Microsoft and Sony at E3, never know!
A super powerful console would be great but knowing Nintendo it'll probably struggle to match the 360 and PS3, then Microsoft and Sony will release their true next gen consoles and obliterate it.
Remember when Nintendo released cutting edge consoles? Seems like a long time ago now...
What do you mean we can "thank the casual ps3/360 players for that"?
It's not them that's trying to make more money it's Bioware! And I doubt they'll sell a whole lot more copies by dumbing it down because the source material and fantasy setting is one for the geeks anyway, I include myself in that btw.
It's simply a case of a company looking for more revenue.
Weird that they say the handling isn't brilliant because in the previous two games I've never had any complaints, it is an arcade racer afterall.
That's the demo I've been waiting for, oh yeah!
@BrutallyHonest : I have a GT2 aswell, has your Thrustmaster arrived yet? I'm very tempted by one but disappointed to see Shift 2 doesn't support it, hoping NASCAR 2011 will.
I'm surprised at the scores so far, after playing the demo I thought it'd be 9's all round...
Wth has that vid got to do with Midnight Club? Lol, someones pulled an early April fool.
Staplehold ? WTF?! In an effort to use a big word you've invented one lol.
Hot pursuit got patched to add wheel support actually, and even then it has the worst dead zone I've ever experienced in a game.
The first shift supported wheels and clutch so this will too.
Where's the motorstorm demo, I need to try that game!
I wonder if he'd spent his time on iracing instead if he would've finished first...
